The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killa lands a jab. Killa looks gassed! Can Vii misses with a takedown attempt and Killa counters with an outside leg kick.
Can Vii closes the distance but Killa moves to the side and Killa makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Killa fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Tomato Can Vii seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Can Vii shoots and misses and Killa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Can Vii tries to clinch but Killa moves away and Killa counters with a series of strikes. Can Vii will be more careful next time no doubt. Sloppy strikes from Can Vii. Those never looked like landing. Can Vii throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Killa is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Can Vii had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Killa scores with a one two! Can Vii had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Killa paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Killa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Can Vii with a lazy takedown attempt and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Tomato Can Vii has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Can Vii shoots and misses and Killa counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Can Vii is lucky that one didn't land flush.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sb Killa. Well Killa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Can Vi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Yin counters with a takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Yin controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yin lands a decent elbow from side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Yin cracks Can Vi with an elbow. That is naaassty. Yin controlling the position from side mount. Can Vi is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. It looks like Yin might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Can Vi could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Quik Yin wasn't active enough on the ground. Good standup being displayed there by Yin as he connects with a hook. Yin closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Can Vi quickly recovers to half guard. Well, if Yin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Yin passes to side control. Yin creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Can Vi being controlled for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Yin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Yin has hold of Can Vi's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Can Vi tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Yin cranks the arm and Can Vi screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Can Vi, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nayoui cracks Can Jr with a right hand to the side of the head. Can Jr shoots and misses and Nayoui counters with a straight right hand. A shot to the liver by Nayoui. Beautiful body shot. Can Jr closes the distance but Nayoui moves to the side and Can Jr takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nayoui lands with a nice body punch. Can Jr is breathing heavily. Nayoui thuds his right hand into Can Jr's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Can Ix could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Can Ix takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Can Ix is breathing heavily. Jones throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Can Ix with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones counters with a nice low kick that buckles Can Ix's knee momentarily. BOOM! Jones lands a beautiful left hook that drops Can Ix. Can Ix tries to recover but Jones is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Can Ix lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Can Iii being controlled against the cage. Can Iii tries to score a body lock takedown but Talalelei shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Can Iii is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Talalelei is defending well. Can Iii is breathing heavily. Can Iii is trying to drag Talalelei to the mat but Talalelei just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomato Can Iii. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stalling in the clinch from Talalelei.
Can Iii drops down looking for an ankle pick but Talalelei pulls his leg out and moves away.

Can Iii tries to clinch up but Talalelei pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Can Iii to the mat! Can Iii covers up and Talalelei unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Takanori screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
