0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Carnivore Carcus! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Carcus changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Carcus throws a shot to the body.
Stalin pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Carcus scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stalin doesn't seem bothered though. Carcus connects with a body shot. Stalin connects with an inside leg kick. Carcus scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Carcus uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Stalin.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Carcus punishes Stalin's body with a nice straight punch. Stalin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Stalin there as he acknowledges the shot. Stalin misses with a straight right. Carcus dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Stalin moves in looking to clinch but Carcus pushes him off. Stalin takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Carcus uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stalin. Stalin moves forwards but Carcus connects with a nice, crisp jab. Carcus stuns Stalin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Stalin is breathing heavily. Stalin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Carcus scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Carcus lands with a right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stalin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Jab, jab by Carcus - just one landing. Stalin could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Carcus listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Carcus stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Carcus looks to land a combination but Stalin avoids it well. Stalin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Carcus fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Stalin on the side of the head. A decent looking cross lands there for Carcus.
It looks like Obahdaya Stalin has been cut. Carcus moves out of range of the strikes. Stalin tries a low kick but Carcus avoids it. Carcus scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Carcus scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Stalin doesn't seem bothered though. Carcus lands with a good body shot. Jab by Carcus. Stalin takes a shot to the body in his stride.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Carcus tests Stalin's chin there with a solid looking shot. Stalin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Carcus lands a nice shot that snaps Stalin's head back.
Stalin walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Carcus ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Carcus is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Stalin had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Carcus takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Carcus with a body punch. A glancing blow. Carcus scores with a jab to the body. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Stalin on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Carcus scores with the left hand. Stalin knows he should have avoided that one. Carcus lands with a right hand. Stalin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. A punch lands to the side of Stalin 's head but he takes it in his stride. Danga de danga de dang - Carcus scores with a four punch combination! A lazy left from Carcus finds it's target.
Stalin is rocked! Stalin takes a shot to the body in his stride.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stalin on the wrong end of a nice jab. Oh Stalin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Carcus punishes Stalin's body with a nice straight punch. Stalin seems to have got his legs back now. Stalin takes a body punch but keeps moving. Decent striking displayed by Carcus there.
Obahdaya Stalin's cut is getting worse. Nice shot lands for Carcus. Carcus jabs Stalin right on the nose. Stalin blinks but takes it well. Carcus staying out of range there. Stalin takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Carcus drops Stalin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stalin looks back up at him and smiles so Carcus waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Carcus lands a nice looking body shot.
Carcus connects with a right that clearly hurt Stalin. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Carcus proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Stalin collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Carnivore Carcus! During a confident post fight interview, Carnivore Carcus thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bubba misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Bubba with a lazy takedown attempt and James counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Big Bubba has been cut. James drops Bubba with a beautiful combination! Bubba stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - James is looking for the KO!
Bubba is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! James throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bubba's waist but Bubba gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing James off to one side. James moves out of range of the leg kick from Bubba. Bubba misses with a head kick.
Bubba swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and James counters with a huge left! Bubba is in big trouble! He's backing up but James isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Bubba from any more damage. A dominating finish by James!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Verbickis shoots in but Shuai avoids the takedown attempt easily. Shuai fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Shuai fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Shuai throws a sloppy head kick and Verbickis moves out of range easily. Shuai shoots for a double leg takedown but Verbickis sprawls well. He's pushed Shuai's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Didzis Verbickis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Omi Shuai. Shuai fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Verbickis fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Shuai, pushing him back against the cage. Shuai is trying to pull guard but Verbickis has him pressed against the cage. Verbickis tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Verbickis controlling the action here for a moment.
Verbickis gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Shuai preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Verbickis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shuai works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Verbickis trying to control but Shuai is working from the bottom. Shuai wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Didzis Verbickis. Verbickis looks to throw a body kick and Shuai decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Verbickis's guard. Shuai has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Verbickis is proving hard to escape from. Shuai thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Verbickis scrambles and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shuai is looking to clinch. Verbickis moves into range and clinches up with Shuai. Verbickis is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Shuai gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Verbickis is trying to break the clinch but Shuai is controlling him. Shuai tries to pull guard but Verbickis won't allow it.
Verbickis has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Shuai clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Shuai really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Verbickis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Verbickis misses with punches from the back. Shuai manages to reverse the position and now he's in Verbickis's guard. Nice work there by Shuai.

Shuai stands up over Verbickis, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Shuai works over Verbickis with some ground and pound from guard. Verbickis throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Verbickis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Verbickis is looking for a triangle but Shuai pushes his legs off easily.
Verbickis is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Verbickis had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shuai defends it easily. Shuai decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Verbickis, up you get! Verbickis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Verbickis doesn't succeed with the takedown and Shuai counters with a big head kick but Verbickis shrugs it off. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shuai looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Verbickis is fending him off so far but Shuai persists. Nope, Verbickis circles away and we're back to standing. Shuai feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Shuai trying to control the position from guard on top but Verbickis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Shuai would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Omi Shuai will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Verbickis has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Shuai avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Verbickis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Didzis Verbickis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Shuai looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Verbickis misses with a takedown attempt and Shuai counters with a straight right hand. Shuai misses with a takedown attempt - Verbickis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Verbickis fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Didzis Verbickis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Verbickis has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Shuai gets a clinch. Shuai has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Verbickis after a bit of a struggle. Verbickis pulls Shuai into guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Shuai fails with the takedown and Verbickis counters with a shoot takedown. Shuai fights it but they end up in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Shuai escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Verbickis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Shuai wants to sweep here but Verbickis controlling him for the moment. Verbickis wants to control from the top but Shuai keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shuai wants to stand and escape but Verbickis is having none of it. Shuai is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Verbickis trying to control the position from guard on top but Shuai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We're going to have a standup here because Didzis Verbickis wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Shuai moves in looking to clinch but Verbickis pushes him off. Didzis Verbickis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shuai decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Verbickis is not content to let Shuai control the position. Verbickis wants to control but Shuai is keeping busy.

Verbickis has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Shuai down to the mat. Shuai avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Shuai takes the fight into the clinch. Shuai blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Verbickis tightening his grip on Shuai, looking for the choke. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Shuai tries to roll but Verbickis sticks to his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Verbickis is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Shuai is defending well though. Verbickis let's go of the attempt for now. Shuai tries to escape but Verbickis has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Will Verbickis go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Verbickis is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish. Didzis Verbickis overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Verbickis lands strikes to the head. Shuai wants to control his opponent's hands but Verbickis gets his hands free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Verbickis missing with strikes. Verbickis has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Verbickis missing with strikes. Shuai tries to escape the position.
Verbickis has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Shuai has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shuai slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Didzis Verbickis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Omi Shuai is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Omi Shuai hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Shuai lands a jab-cross combination.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Didzis Verbickis. I think Shuai has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Reilly has Jones pressed against the cage, preventing Jones from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Jones stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Reilly's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jones sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Reilly shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Reilly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mike Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Reilly. Jones lands a nice shot to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Reilly takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses. Sloppy strikes from Jones. Those never looked like landing. Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Reilly throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mike Jones will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mike Jones's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Reilly might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jones kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Jones wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Reilly.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Reilly breaks from Jones's wrist control and lands an elbow. Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reilly on the ground.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fausu throws a series of strikes that have Gomez backpedaling.
Fausu lands with an uppercut that bounces Gomez off the cage and back into range. Fausu gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like Tommy Fausu has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Gomez misses with a series of wild punches.
Gomez shoots in but no luck this time. Gomez moves to clinch but Fausu breaks away and Fausu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Gomez misses with a straight right. Gomez fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fausu, pushing him back against the cage. Fausu has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Gomez uses from the top position. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tyson thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Brown is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Brown drops his hands momentarily. Stanson doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Brown staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Brown doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good leg kick by Saenpong there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Saenpong delivers a nice body kick. Saenpong ducks under a wild hook from Pure. Saenpong looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Pure will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pure walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Wilford Pure has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Saenpong sizes up Pure with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Saenpong ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Pure is breathing heavily. Saenpong lands with a nice body punch. Pure drops his hands momentarily and Saenpong takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Saenpong works the jab nicely.
Wilford Pure's cut is getting worse. Saenpong cracks Pure with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Saenpong has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pure to stand back up!
