The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chicago fails in his attempt to clinch. Chicago wants to clinch. Akers cracks Chicago with an open hand slap.
It looks like Earl Chicago has been cut. Akers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Chicago moves away. Akers scores a knockdown with a big right hand! Chicago beats the count and gets back to his feet. The referee asks him to walk forwards and it appears he is OK so we'll continue the bout.
Chicago is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Akers misses with an uppercut. Oh Chicago is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Chicago throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Akers. Chicago seems to have got his legs back now. Akers gets tackled into the ropes by Chicago. Chicago maintains the clinch. Chicago is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Akers is keeping busy. Chicago manages to break the clinch.
Akers thows a left - swing and a miss! Chicago swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Akers counters with a big uppercut that nearly lifts Chicago off his feet! Chicago crashes to the mat in all kinds of trouble! The referee starts the count but I'm not sure it's necessary - Chicago isn't going to make it! The count reaches 10 and this fight is all over! Akers screams and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmmm spit, everywhere. Lovely.

Tamias Poochyena seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poochyena thows a body shot but no joy. Poochyena throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Toste stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Toste walks into a jab. Poochyena slips a jab from Toste. Poochyena throws a good cross that connects.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poochyena throws a body punch but Toste moves out of range. Poochyena scores with a jab. Toste throws a solid leg kick but Poochyena takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Toste. A big left from Poochyena misses. Toste walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Poochyena! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
