The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Oooooh!!! Warton has knocked Pack down with a huge combo! Warton steps away and waves a wobbly Pack back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like John Pack has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pack throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Warton misses with a few strikes there.
Warton tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Warton throws a right and a left that both miss.
Warton takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Warton throws a nice looking combination but Pack bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pack throws a body punch but Warton moves out of range.
A head kick misses from Warton.
Pack misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Warton throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Warton throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Pack crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Trasseli comes to the cage accompanied by Look at my horse!. Name has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look pumped up here. Trasseli throws a series of punches but Name moves out of range.
Trasseli cracks a nice hook into Name's ribs.
Name looks gassed!
Trasseli uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Name has time to react.
Trasseli thumps Name with a low kick.
A big right from Name misses.
Trasseli scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Trasseli throws a sloppy head kick and Name moves out of range easily.
Trasseli misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Name.
Trasseli connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Name's hands.
Name backs away from a small jab... but Trasseli lunges forward with a huge superman punch! Name crumples to the ground as his mouth piece is sent flying! Trasseli with a spectacular finish!

Fro is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Fro looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Fro walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bones cracks Fro with an uppercut from hell and Fro crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Bones's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Bones works over Fro with some ground and pound from guard.
Bones lands a couple of digs.

Fro is rocked!
Bones postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Fro covers up, he's hurt! Bones keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Bones and the ref steps in to end the fight! Bones can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Pulikka throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Silver on the side of the head.
Pulikka lands with a hook. Silver tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Pulikka checks a leg kick.

Pulikka clinches up against the cage.
Pulikka lands with a light punch inside.

Pulikka jumps guard and drags Silver to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Silver forces his way into half guard.
Pulikka on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pulikka tries to get out of the position.

Silver is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Pulikka defends it well.

Silver looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Silver is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Silver stops Pulikka from getting back to his feet.
Silver is taking a breather. Pulikka says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Silver is looking for a kimura but Pulikka is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silver to get the leverage.

Silver decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
A big left from Silver misses.
Pulikka feints and then cracks Silver's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Silver down.
Pulikka fails to land with a series of punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silver.

Silver throws a right and a left that Pulikka avoids nicely.
Donk. Pulikka catches Silver right on the button with a cross.
Pulikka jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Pulikka throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Pulikka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Pulikka lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Silver walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Silver tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pulikka swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Silver drives through with a takedown into guard.
Silver is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Silver's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Silver trying to control the position from guard on top but Pulikka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

John Silver has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Silver manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Pulikka on his heels. He'll look to pass Pulikka's guard now, I'm sure.

Silver trying to control the position from guard on top but Pulikka is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Silver might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pulikka kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. John Silver hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Pulikka, as that shot connected.
Tontza Pulikka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pulikka throws a right hand that Silver ducks under and follows up with a left that Silver also avoids with ease.
Silver tries for a takedown but Pulikka sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Pulikka fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Silver has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Tontza Pulikka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Silver takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Silver looks gassed!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pulikka scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Silver doesn't seem bothered though.

Pulikka pushes Silver up against the cage in a clinch.
Pulikka with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Silver wants a takedown but no success here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tontza Pulikka will probably get the nod.

Jyytti lands with a big right hook that stumbles Frankopan - he's out on his feet here! Jyytti follows up with another monster hook that separates Frankopan from consciousness! Frankopan falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Jyytti stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

Mcartura is looking for a sweep. Miller is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Miller is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mcartura sees it coming and defends easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mcartura looks to land a combination but Miller avoids it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miller closes the distance and clinches up with Mcartura, looking for a takedown. Miller pushes Mcartura against the cage but Mcartura circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mcartura slaps away a takedown attempt from Miller, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Mcartura misses with a series of wild punches.
Miller slips a jab and a cross from Mcartura.

and Miller counters with a shoot takedown. Mcartura fights it but they end up in guard.

Miller is working to tighten is grip on Mcartura's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Mcartura has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Miller is really squeezing tight and eventually Mcartura passes out! Miller breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Korpisuo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Rupp tries to reverse the position but Korpisuo maintains control.

A big strike lands for Korpisuo! That's really hurt Rupp and he's turned his back - Korpisuo keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Korpisuo jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wazz Dakka.
