The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nurjas is looking to clinch but Arona is avoiding it.
Arona shoots in and gets a takedown into Nurjas's guard. Arona is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Nurjas looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Arona drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Arona jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Arona pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nurjas is keeping the position for now. Arona is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Arona drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Arona jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Nurjas might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Nurjas has his foot on Arona's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Arona works his way back into a safe position though. Arona pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nurjas is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arona is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Arona is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Arona is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Nurjas is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Nurjas has escaped and now he's on top! Nurjas trying to stand up but can't free himself from Arona's guard. Arona is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Arona is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Nurjas has his hands clasped together but Arona extends an breaks Nurjas's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Arona.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pinha keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Silva feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Silva throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Pinha works some decent striking defense from the bottom. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Pinha utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Silva cracks Pinha with a solid left hand. Pinha avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Silva lands a couple of decent looking shots. Silva scoring with some ground and pound. Silva lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Pinha looking for a sweep. Not yet Pinha, not yet. Silva showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Silva is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Pinha's guard. Still in half guard, Silva seems content to control. Silva sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pinha defending well though. Silva thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Silva thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Pinha's head. Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Silva slips a nice elbow through Pinha's hands, connecting with Pinha's forehead. Silva throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Pinha is not content to let Silva control the position. Silva drops an elbow to the side of Pinha's head. Silva not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Silva working over Pinha with some ground and pound. Pinha looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Silva scoring with strikes to the body and head. This has been an exciting period of action! Silva winds up and cracks Pinha with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Silva trying to control from half guard but Pinha is working away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Silva scoring with strikes to the body and head. Pinha wants to control but Silva is keeping busy and won't allow it. Nice strikes from Silva there. Silva is trying to control. Pinha wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Silva lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Silva looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pinha with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Silva is pressing down on Pinha's thigh, looking to free his foot. Pinha is holding on for now. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Silva connects with a nice short shot to Pinha's temple. Silva scoring with strikes to the body and head. Silva working the head and body with strikes. Nice strikes from Silva there. Pinha is breathing heavily. Silva content to control rather than advance. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva not landing any meaningful shots this time. Silva takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Silva slips a nice elbow through Pinha's hands, connecting with Pinha's forehead. Silva lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Pinha is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Silva scores with a couple of nice shots. Silva is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Silva working the head and body with strikes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Silva lands strikes from half guard. Silva scoring with strikes to the body and head. Silva looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Pinha is rocked! Silva lands with a punch from half guard. Oh Pinha is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Silva lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Pinha! More strikes land and this one is all over! Silva jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duarte rushes Gracie and presses him up against the ropes. Duarte lands a nice uppercut. Duarte misses with a body punch.
Duarte lands with a short head shot on the inside. Duarte lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Gracie. Duarte scores with an uppercut up the middle. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Duarte pushes Gracie back against the ropes and unloads with a body punch. A right hand to the body from Duarte.
Gracie is breathing heavily. A nice left hand lands by Duarte.

Duarte stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Duarte lands on the inside with an uppercut. A short right hand to the side of the head by Duarte.
Gracie is rocked! Duarte presses Gracie against the ropes and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Oh Gracie is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Duarte pushes Gracie against the ropes. Duarte is working some dirty boxing. Duarte pushes off with a quick right hook! Gracie goes down! Gracie tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Duarte moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bori to the ground. Williams is now in Bori's guard. Bori wants to sweep but no luck. Bori keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully. Williams looking to pass the guard. Williams stays in close to Bori's body and controls the position. Bori is looking to stand up but Williams isn't so interested in that idea. Bori wants to control but Williams passes easily into half guard.
Williams is taking a breather. Bori says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Williams prevents Bori from standing back up.

Williams trying to control but Bori is having none of it. Williams takes Bori's back. Bori is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Bori manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bori is looking to stand up but Williams won't let him.

Bori has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Williams is proving hard to escape from. Williams managing to control the position. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Let's hope that Williams has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Williams is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Bori wants to get up but he can't break Williams's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bori wants to stand and escape but instead Williams has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jared Williams dominated that round. That's time! Bori's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Williams shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Williams looks to land a left hand but Bori moved out of range nicely. Williams tries for a takedown but Bori circles away easily and Bori counters with a two punch combo. Bori displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Williams. Dark Bori has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jared Williams. Williams throws a right and a left that both miss. Williams fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Bori avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bori scores with a kick to the midsection. Williams tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in the close the distance. Bori manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Williams takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Jared Williams has been cut. Sloppy strikes from Bori. Those never looked like landing. Bori tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Williams paws at him with a jab and circles away. Williams shoots and misses and Bori counters with a series of strikes. Williams will be more careful next time no doubt. Bori lands a left and a right that send Williams crashing to the mat, dazed. Bori thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Williams is rocked! Dark Bori is winning the standup battle so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bori looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Williams is still on wobbly legs! Can Bori finish him? Nice takedown defense from Bori. No joy for Williams on that attempt. Williams seems to have recovered his senses. Bori is looking to clinch. Bori lands with a right and another and another! Williams is in big trouble! Bori lands again and this time it's lights out for Williams! A quality knockout there for Bori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lane bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Midou's head. Midou tries to clinch but Lane moves away and Lane counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Lane stands and throws Midou's legs to the side, diving into side control. The referee asks Lane politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Lane prefers to stall for the moment though. Midou really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lane is working to tighten is grip on Midou's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Midou has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Lane is really squeezing tight and eventually Midou passes out! Lane breaks the hold and jumps onto the ropes to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Filipovic misses with a series of wild punches.
Filipovic feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Mafra's calf. Filipovic turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Filipovic throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mafra closes the distance and clinches. Mafra is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes. Filipovic pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Filipovic scores with a jab. Mafra acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Filipovic dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Mafra tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Mafra misses the body punch and Filipovic counters with a one-two to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Mafra shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Filipovic is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mafra gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Filipovic counters with a straight right hand. Mafra tries to move into range but Filipovic moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Mafra tries a head kick but it misses.
CroCop Filipovic is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mafra takes a jab right on the kisser.
Mafra on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Filipovic connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Filipovic cracks Mafra with an open hand slap. Mafra looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Filipovic wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Filipovic scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Filipovic connects with a combination that backs up Mafra into the ropes. Filipovic lands a flurry of punches that gets past Mafra's guard. Mafra is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Filipovic bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). CroCop Filipovic! CroCop Filipovic decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thorn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. David lands an overhand right. A head kick misses from Thorn. Thorn tries to clinch but David is having none of it. David tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Thorn paws at him with a jab and circles away. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! David crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Thorn - the referee stops the clock and David gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Thorn. David manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. David shoots in but no luck this time. David scores with a nice takedown into half guard. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rossi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Anthriel pinned against the ropes. Anthriel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Rossi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Anthriel's waist but Anthriel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rossi off to one side. Rossi slips a straight right by Anthriel. Anthriel looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. No luck with that takedown attempt from Rossi. Jorn Anthriel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hugo Rossi. Rossi dodges the punch combination from Anthriel.

Anthriel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Rossi has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Anthriel has managed to get both his arms back between Rossi's legs - danger averted. Anthriel is looking to stand up but Rossi won't let him. Anthriel wants to control from the top but Rossi keeps moving. Anthriel has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Rossi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Anthriel wants to get up but he can't break Rossi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
