Welsh is trying to push Copout away but Copout has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Copout lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Copout pushes Welsh against the cage. Copout is working some dirty boxing. Copout pushes off with a quick right hook! Welsh goes down! Welsh tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Couture is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Swan controls Couture momentarily but Couture frees himself. Couture is stalling in the full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Methuselah Couture just wasn't active enough. A cross from Couture lands. Couture shoots for a double leg takedown but Swan sprawls well. He's pushed Couture's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

It looks like he's just sitting there. Swan tries to roll over but Couture keeps him under control. Couture is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Couture controlling the position easily from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swan is trying desperately to improve position. Couture is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Couture feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Swan's calf. Swan moves out of range of the strikes. Couture tries to clinch up but Swan circles away and keeps his distance. A nice leg kick lands there from Swan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Swan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Swan wants it to stay on the feet. Couture swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Swan lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Swan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Couture has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Couture tries to clinch up but Swan circles away and keeps his distance. A big left from Swan misses. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Couture is defended easily by Swan. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Swan has Couture up against the cage in a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Couture tries to score a body lock takedown but Swan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Methuselah Couture. I think Couture has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Brannigan escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Brannigan! Brannigan is trying to get an arm triangle but Duke is defending well. Duke wants to control but Brannigan postures up. Duke gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Brannigan controlling the action here. Duke is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Brannigan is tapping! Great win for Duke!

Breaker scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Breaker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hogan. That did some damage!
