Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Night Shadow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Cain Flores has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Cain Flores seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Night Shadow! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flores rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shadow moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Shadow tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Flores paws at him with a jab and circles away. Shadow tries for a takedown but Flores sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Shadow is looking to clinch but Flores is avoiding it.

Shadow shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Flores is not content to let Shadow control the position. Shadow tries to stand but his arm is trapped.

Shadow controlling the action here. Shadow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flores keeps working.

Night Shadow has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Shadow shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Flores sprawls well. Flores wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shadow gets slowly back to his feet. Flores misses with a low kick as Shadow jumps back. Shadow shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Flores napping and manages to drive through into side control! Shadow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Flores keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shadow is trying to get an arm triangle but Flores is defending well. Flores tries to improve position but can't. Shadow is looking to take a break and control but Flores is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Shadow wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Flores, who protects the arm well. Shadow looks gassed! Shadow is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Flores is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Night Shadow dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Flores scores with a crisp jab that stopped Shadow in his tracks. Shadow throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Flores's waist but Flores gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shadow off to one side. Shadow is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Flores.
It looks like Night Shadow has been cut. Night Shadow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shadow throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Flores misses with a jab, cross combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Shadow throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Shadow throws a shot from downtown. Flores moves away and avoids it. Flores scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Donk. Flores catches Shadow right on the button with a cross.
Shadow is rocked! Flores is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Shadow. Shadow is still on wobbly legs! Can Flores finish him? Flores throws an overhand right that lands on Shadow's shoulder, as Shadow tries to avoid the shot.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shadow ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Flores steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Shadow is out on his feet! Flores sets himself and nearly takes Shadow's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Vaan misses with a lunging right hand
and Lee counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Vaan's guard now. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lee throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Lee postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Lee in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Lee throws a big elbow that misses. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lee accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Vaan wants to stand but Lee is controlling the position. Lee throws a big right hand that misses. Lee slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Vaan has a closed guard, preventing Lee from standing up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Vaan lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Nice uppercut lands for Vaan. That snapped Lee's head back.
Vaan walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Lee drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Vaan swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Lee's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!

Bastard is trying to pull guard but Roshan turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Roshan keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Bastard's efforts to push away. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bastard fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bastard is defended easily by Roshan. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Man ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Coleman takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Man to score with a decent uppercut. Coleman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Man as he avoids it easily. Man lands a jab to Coleman's midsection. Coleman chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Man can pounce on him.

A shot to the liver by Duenas. Beautiful body shot. Duenas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Duenas shoots in but Jackson avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reece Edward Duenas. That's going to take a lot out of him. Duenas throws a leg kick which misses Jackson's front leg but catches the back leg as Jackson tries to avoid it.
