The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montana connects with a solid leg kick. Montana wants to clinch. Liddell misses with a looping right. Montana pushes Liddell away with a front kick. Montana closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Montana working Liddell over with knees to the body. Montana breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Liddell takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Montana looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Liddell fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Montana dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Liddell. That did some damage! Liddell throws a right and a left that both miss. Some wild striking there from Liddell.
Montana buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Montana lands with a thumping leg kick.
Montana throws a nice outside leg kick. Liddell looks gassed! Montana cracks the inside of Liddell's front leg. Spud Montana seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Montana thumps Liddell with a low kick. Montana moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Montana, right into the meat.
Montana throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Iceman Liddell has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Montana throws a front kick that sends Liddell stumbling back into the cage. Montana connects with a high kick. Montana goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Montana connects with a solid leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Montana thows a body shot but no joy. Montana rushes Liddell and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Liddell takes a knee right on the jaw!
Montana connects with a nasty looking knee right to Liddell's face.
Liddell takes an elbow to the temple. A quick uppercut on the inside from Montana.
That has opened up Iceman Liddell's cut even more. Montana lands a damaging elbow. Liddell wants to break the clinch but can't.
Montana crunches a lovely knee into Liddell's ribcage. Montana lands a damaging elbow.
The cut above Iceman Liddell's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Montana lands a knee to the body.
Nice elbow from Montana.
Iceman Liddell's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Montana putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Liddell in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. A knee to the head by Montana.
Liddell is rocked! Montana landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Liddell is still on wobbly legs! Can Montana finish him? Montana lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Liddell's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Montana lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Liddell takes a shot to the head. Montana working the clinch nicely. Liddell is working for position but Montana cracks him with a big knee to the head! Liddell crumples up against the cage and Montana lands two more shots before the ref can save Liddell! This one is all over!

Jack Daniels had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels clinches with his opponent.

Daniels ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Daniels shoots in for a takedown but Arvanitidis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Arvanitidis fails to land with a series of punches.
Daniels is trying hard to land a takedown here. Arvanitidis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Arvanitidis misses with an attempted mid kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Daniels. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Daniels. That's going to take a lot out of him. Daniels shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Arvanitidis as he jumps to the side. Nice takedown defense from Arvanitidis. No joy for Daniels on that attempt. Daniels fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Arvanitidis avoids it really well and circles away. Arvanitidis looks to land a combination but Daniels avoids it well. Arvanitidis lands with a nice body punch. Daniels closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arvanitidis gets underhooks to prevent Daniels's takedown attempt.
Daniels changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Arvanitidis fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jannis Arvanitidis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Arvanitidis throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Arvanitidis dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Daniels. That did some damage! Arvanitidis throws a jab when Daniels was well out of range. and Daniels counters by moving into the clinch. Daniels tries to pull guard but Arvanitidis won't allow it.
Arvanitidis has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Daniels uses from the top position. Arvanitidis working for a triangle but Daniels defends it easily.

Arvanitidis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Daniels can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Daniels wants to control from the top but Arvanitidis keeps moving. Daniels has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Arvanitidis is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Daniels is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Arvanitidis has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Daniels is looking to defend but Arvanitidis has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Daniels! Arvanitidis pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Daniels taps out and this one is all over!

I think Nikitin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Slipknot - The Heretic Anthem. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrosyan stuffs the takedown attempt from Nikitin. Nikitin gets slowly back to his feet. Petrosyan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Nikitin will feel that in the morning. Petrosyan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Petrosyan lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. A telegraphed right hand from Nikitin misses the target. Petrosyan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Petrosyan keeps the fight on the outside. Nikitin avoids the head kick by Petrosyan.
Petrosyan throws a low kick but Nikitin moves out of range easily. Nikitin lands a nice shot to the body.
Nikitin throws an off balance right hand
letting Petrosyan counter with a right hand. Nikitin misses with a hook. Petrosyan tries to close the distance and clinch but Nikitin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nikitin missing with a left hand there. Petrosyan was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Petrosyan cracks a nice hook into Nikitin's ribs. Nikitin dives in and grabs Petrosyan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Petrosyan pushes down on Nikitin's head and hops out. Nikitin misses with a lunging right hand
and Petrosyan connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Petrosyan misses with a kick to the body.
Petrosyan tries to land a front kick but Nikitin steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Petrosyan takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Petrosyan is looking to clinch but Nikitin is avoiding it.
Nikitin throws a hook but Petrosyan blocks it. Oleg Nikitin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Horrible takedown by Nikitin or perhaps it was just good defense by Petrosyan which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oleg Nikitin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Petrosyan takes the fight into the clinch. Nikitin pulls guard successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nikitin has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Petrosyan wants to get up but he can't break Nikitin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nikitin has Petrosyan pulled in close to control his posture. Nikitin looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Petrosyan is defending well. Nikitin quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Petrosyan has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Nikitin celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

It looks like Mike Tyson has been cut. Tyson ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Tyson misses with an attempted mid kick.

Tyson misses with an uppercut. Wayne throws a front kick that sends Tyson stumbling back into the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! A slapping body kick lands there for Wayne. Wayne takes a swing at Tyson's ribcage but misses. Wayne uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tyson. Nice uppercut there from Wayne. Tyson throws a leg kick but Wayne checks it. Wayne jabs Tyson right on the nose. Tyson blinks but takes it well.
Tyson is rocked! Tyson is aggressively charging in as Wayne backs up avoiding any damage. Wayne tosses out a jab and Tyson runs right into it face first! Tyson is out cold! Wayne dropped down on all fours and is barking in Tyson's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Clark Wayne! Clark Wayne took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, -OVERDOSE Factory- for their support in the buildup to the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jab, jab by John - just one landing. Smith throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smith stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Smith wants it to stay on the feet. John is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Smith misses with a left hand letting John counter with a right hand. Jab, jab by Smith - just one landing. Smith showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from John.
John misses the jab. David Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Some wild striking there from Smith.
Smith on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. John connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by John. John dips to his left and cracks Smith with an uppercut! Smith takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Smith looking to score a takedown here. John is defending well but Smith drives through and ends up in John's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. John working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Smith. Smith postures up in John's guard and throws a big left but John blocks it. John working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Smith doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Smith manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. John controls Smith momentarily but Smith frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. John working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Smith. Smith throws a big elbow that misses. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but John is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smith lands a couple of elbows. Smith landing some decent shots from guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smith throwing strikes from guard but John blocks nicely. Smith with a nice head shot there. Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. John swivels though and keeps the full guard. John manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. John moves to back control. Smith is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if John gets his way!
John gets his hands free as Smith looks to control. John is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Smith is defending well though. John let's go of the attempt for now. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smith trying to control the hands but John breaks the grip. Smith rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

It looks like Little John has been cut. John throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fighters circle momentarily. John darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. John throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Smith uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from John. Smith throws a jab but it's blocked by John. John throws a leg kick but Smith sees it coming and moves out of range. John throws an overhand right that lands on Smith's shoulder, as Smith tries to avoid the shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. John looks to throw the jab but Smith is out of range. John is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Smith tries a low kick but John avoids it. John on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. John avoids the head kick by Smith.

A wild punch that just about connected. John has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. John walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
John is rocked! Smith has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Smith there as he acknowledges the shot. John is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him? Smith throws an overhand right that drops John like a sack of potatoes! Smith dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Smith! After the fight, David Smith was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Borgermoen is defended easily by Vesnev. Borgermoen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Vesnev is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Borgermoen takes a shot to the body in his stride.

That was a close second round but I would say that Wrestling Spar will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Gray is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Suhonen doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Gray crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Gray's bad books for that mishap!
