The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bubba throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Van Der Edd.
Van Der Edd throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
The fight stays on the outside here - Van Der Edd looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
A nice leg kick lands there from Van Der Edd.
Van Der Edd takes one to the chin there.
It looks like Edwin Van Der Edd has been cut.
Van Der Edd on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bubba throws an overhand right that lands on Van Der Edd's shoulder, as Van Der Edd tries to avoid the shot.
Bubba cracks Van Der Edd with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Van Der Edd is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Van Der Edd is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9, he's up! Wow, he cut that one a bit fine!
Van Der Edd is rocked!
Van Der Edd tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Bubba paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Van Der Edd is still on wobbly legs! Can Bubba finish him?
Bubba dances in with a quick combination. Van Der Edd is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Bubba snaps Van Der Edd's head back. Van Der Edd stumbles backwards against the ropes. Bubba steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Van Der Edd's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Van Der Edd just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chubba Bubba!
Chubba Bubba was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

It looks like Jason Ostroyevski has been cut.
Ostroyevski closes the distance but DragonBro moves to the side
and DragonBro counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
DragonBro is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ostroyevski misses with a few strikes there.
DragonBro scores with a jab.
Ostroyevski walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
