The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kornas just misses with a punch to the body.
Kornas throws a leg kick that misses.
A combination from Kornas does no damage.
Kornas slaps away a takedown attempt from Dragonfly, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kornas's jab looks to have found its range, popping Dragonfly under the eye.

Dragonfly has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Dragonfly is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Kornas just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Dragonfly has gone limp and this one is over!

Tortuga takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nie, as that shot connected.

Tortuga shoots in for a double leg but Nie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Tortuga looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Nie explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nie shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Tortuga eats them both and turns towards Nie to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Nie throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Tortuga stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Nie connects with a nasty looking knee right to Tortuga's face.

Krzysztof Nie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
