The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alamar circles away from the clinch attempt

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The ground and pound from Alamar seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Evans can do anything to dispel that myth.

Kotromanic feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nagy sprawling to the canvas! Nagy rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Kotromanic finish him?!

Raymond throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gomaco tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Raymond is in Gomaco's guard.

Gomaco is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

LeBlanc throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Deeds's waist but Deeds gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing LeBlanc off to one side.

LeBlanc changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Deeds tries to avoid it but LeBlanc manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Deeds to the ground. Deeds escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Mister Deeds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincent LeBlanc.
LeBlanc looks up at the clock. Bad move! Deeds lands a right hand from hell, dropping LeBlanc. Deeds pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
