4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Sam Peterson! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Li is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Li tries to clinch and Peterson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Peterson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Li trying to hold on to Peterson's head to control him but Peterson postures up.
Peterson wants to take a breather but Li is having none of it.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sam Peterson wasn't active enough on the ground. Li tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. William Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Li wants to clinch up but Peterson keeps it at a distance. Li slaps away a takedown attempt from Peterson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Peterson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Li as he avoids it easily. William Li has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee asks Peterson politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Peterson prefers to stall for the moment though. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

They are putting on a show! Peterson keeps the fight on the outside. Peterson swats away the attempt to clinch by Li. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice takedown defense from Li. No joy for Peterson on that attempt. Peterson shoots in looking for a takedown but Li manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Peterson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. William Li has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Sam Peterson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Peterson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Li sprawls well initially but Peterson persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Peterson takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Peterson wants to control but Li is keeping him busy.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Flurry moves to clinch but Renninger breaks away and Renninger counters with a nice kick to the body. Flurry darts in trying to clinch and Renninger counters with a leg kick. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Flurry crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Renninger - the referee stops the clock and Flurry gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Renninger. Flurry manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Flurry tries to clinch up and Renninger counters with a stiff right hand. Renninger slips under a jab from Flurry. Renninger tries a head kick but it misses.
Flurry tries to clinch but fails miserably and Renninger counters with a thumping low kick. Renninger tries to work over Flurry's front leg with a kick but Flurry checks it. Flurry closes the distance but Renninger moves to the side and Renninger cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Flurry tries to clinch but Renninger moves away and Renninger counters with a low kick, right behind Flurry 's knee. Flurry tries to clinch and Renninger makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Flurry really felt that one! Flurry looks to clinch and Renninger finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Renninger scores with a push kick. Renninger throws a sloppy head kick and Flurry counters into the clinch. Nicely done. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Renninger dodges an elbow strike from Flurry.

Flurry feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Renninger sprawling to the canvas! Renninger rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Flurry finish him?!
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Richard Renninger. Well Renninger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. El' Bows has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kicky Kickboxer. Bows takes the fight into the clinch. Bows is leaning against Kickboxer and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Kickboxer looks gassed! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bows is pressed up against the cage. Kickboxer has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Bows down to the mat. Bows avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Bows delivers a nice body kick. Bellringer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. McLeod throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bellringer. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McLeod lands the left hand. McLeod fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bellringer manages to avoid it. Bellringer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McLeod throws out the jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut above Bernie McLeod's eye is starting to cause him problems now. McLeod punishes Bellringer's body with a nice straight punch. Bellringer cracks McLeod with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends McLeod tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bellringer pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! McLeod is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
