The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Giap is looking to clinch. A slow jab from Evens misses its intended target. Giap is looking to clinch but Evens is avoiding it.
The fight moves into the clinch position. Evens has had enough of the clinch but Giap keeps him there for the moment. Evens is trying to break the clinch but Giap is controlling him. Evens goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Giap scores with a shoulder strike. Evens is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Evens has had enough of the clinch but Giap keeps him there for the moment. Evens has had enough of the clinch but Giap keeps him there for the moment. Giap gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Evens tries to stall but Giap uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Co feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Co sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Carson's guard. Co is keen to just control but Carson is a slippery customer. Carson is defending against the submission attempts here by Co.
Carson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Co sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Carson defending well though. Co thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Carson's head. Co has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Carson wants to get back to his feet. Co throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Carson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Co misses with a takedown attempt and Carson counters with a series of strikes. Co will be more careful next time no doubt. Co is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Carson's half guard. Carson tries to kick Co off but Co keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Co tries to pass to full mount but Carson defends it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Co utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Co looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Carson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Co tries to land a sweep but no joy. Carson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Carson cracks Co with a solid left hand. Macapinlac Co has got the better of the ground game so far. Carson cracks Co with a solid left hand. Carson stopping the sweep attempt from Co. Co escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Co is breathing heavily. Carson stands up from guard. He'll look to pass Carson's guard now, I'm sure. This has been an exciting period of action! Carson keeping moving, preventing Co from controlling successfully. Carson wants to get back to his feet but Co is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Co is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Carson pushes Co off and scrambles back to his feet.

Carson pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Co back to the cage. Carson follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Co looking to score a takedown here. Carson is defending well but Co drives through and ends up in Carson's guard. Co is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Co throws an elbow that misses. Carson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Co's guard. Nice move by Carson! Co is trying to control the position but Carson postures up. Co working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Carson. Carson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Co's guard. Carson looking to sit in guard and control but Co gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Carson pushes Co off and scrambles back to his feet.

Co pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Carson is keeping the position for now. That was a close second round but I would say that Bill Carson will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Carson doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Co. Co seems to be trying to get a kimura but instead Carson has recovered full guard. Co missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Co trying to control the position from guard on top but Carson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Carson keeping full guard, as Co tries to pass.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Co misses with a takedown attempt - Carson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Co takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Carson misses with a two punch combination.
Co with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Carson to score with a decent uppercut. Carson scores with a head kick.
Carson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Co. Bill Carson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Macapinlac Co. Carson lands a two punch combo.
Carson tests Co's chin there with a solid looking shot. Co misses with a takedown attempt - Carson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Co's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Macapinlac Co comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Co has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beast throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Beast misses with a low kick.
Iaton throws a nice looking combination but Beast bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Beast lands a jab-cross combination. Beast just misses with a punch to the body.
Iaton on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Iaton keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Beast. Beast avoids the body shot from Iaton.
Demon Beast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A swing and a miss from Beast. Iaton throws a body punch but Beast moves out of range. Donk. Beast catches Iaton right on the button with a cross. Iaton throws out a loose jab but Beast uses good head movement to avoid it. Beast staying out of range there. Iaton tries to land a front kick but Beast steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Beast doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Beast keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
The fighters circling - Beast throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beast lands with a nice combination. Iaton backs away looking to recover. No joy there for Beast, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Beast scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Beast with a body punch. A glancing blow. Iaton avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Iaton shoots in for a takedown but Beast shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Iaton misses with a body shot.

Iaton throws a shot from downtown. Beast moves away and avoids it. Beast lands a leg kick that knocks Iaton off balance momentarily. Iaton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Beast looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The ground and pound from Iaton seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Iaton landing a few strikes. Beast takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Iaton landing a few strikes. Iaton working the body and head with strikes. Beast gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Beast is looking to improve his position.

Sanchez sees it coming and avoids it easily. Machado cracks a nice hook into Sanchez's ribs. Sanchez cracks Machado with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Machado misses with a straight right. Machado misses with a looping right. Machado shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Machado throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
