Paneda ducks under a wild hook from Balboa.
Rocky Balboa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Paneda closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Paneda seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Balboa for as long as he can get away with.

Paneda reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Paneda taps out! Nice BJJ there by Balboa!

Sweeney throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Williams.
Sweeney ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Williams feints and as Sweeney raises his hands in defense, Williams changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Williams has gone for a leg lock! Sweeney slips out almost immediately though and dives into Williams's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sweeney distracts Williams with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Sweeney passes Williams's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Sweeney is keen to just control but Williams is a slippery customer.
Williams keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Sweeney is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Sweeney looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Williams with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Williams wants to improve his position but Sweeney is controlling well.
Sweeney has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Williams drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Sweeney dives on top into guard.
Williams is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Sweeney drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sweeney jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Williams seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Williams stumbles backwards against the cage. Sweeney steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Williams's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Williams just didn't come prepared.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tulfo is defended easily by Bloome.
Bloome misses with a body kick.
Bloome fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Tulfo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bloome tries to avoid it but Tulfo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bloome to the ground. Bloome escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Tulfo gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Erwin Tulfo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Tulfo shoots in for a takedown but Bloome shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Padilla walks straight into a right hand from Scalante - that's dropped him! Scalante jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Padilla from any more punishment! Padilla complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
