Borislav Borodin is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jones's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Borodin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jones scrambles back to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pitbull shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ruutu counters with a two punch combo. Ruutu has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Pitbull finds it's way round the side to connect with Ruutu's head.
It looks like Mikko Ruutu has been cut. Pitbull will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Ruutu throws a sloppy head kick and Pitbull moves out of range easily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pitbull tries for a takedown but Ruutu circles away easily and Ruutu counters with a head kick that wobbles Pitbull - left then right he sways and one more bomb from Ruutu sends him down. This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dank dives in and scores a takedown into Vaan's guard. Dank engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Dank looking to pass the guard. Vaan utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Dank wants to pass the guard but Vaan is keeping the position. Dank postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dank seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
We're going to have a standup here because John Dank wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Dank lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vaan circles away quickly and effectively. Dank misses with a double jab.
Dank misses with a straight right. Vaan jabs Dank right on the nose. Dank blinks but takes it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dank closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Dank has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Dank is trying to get an arm triangle but Vaan is defending well. A lull in the action here as Dank stalls from top position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dank tries for a kimura but Vaan is defending well. Dank moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vaan takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. The referee asks Dank politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dank prefers to stall for the moment though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

John Dank has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Vaan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dank. Dank tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vaan swivels and escapes. Vaan fails with the takedown. Dank shoots in looking for a takedown but Vaan manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dank's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Dank. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vaan stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Vaan wants it to stay on the feet. Dank feints and as Vaan raises his hands in defense, Dank changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Dank is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Vaan wants to sweep here but Dank controlling him for the moment. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vaan wants to get back to his feet but Dank is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Dank looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Dank dominated that round. That's time! Dank's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

It looks like Gabranth Vaan has been cut. Dank shoots in looking for a takedown. Vaan tries to sprawl out of it but Dank keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Vaan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Dank gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like John Dank has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dank fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Dank. That's going to take a lot out of him. Vaan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Dank on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Vaan scores with a body shot.
Vaan lands a big right hand that sends Dank crashing to the mat! Vaan stays standing though and waves Dank back to his feet! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Vaan drops Dank with a huge uppercut! Dank drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Vaan is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gabranth Vaan! A determined Gabranth Vaan didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance. Jackson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jackson shoots in looking for a takedown but Mac manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jackson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mac misses with a right hand and Jackson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Jackson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jackson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Jackson looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Mac wants to control from the top but Jackson keeps moving. Mac must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Jackson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Mac throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Jackson's body to avoid the submission. Jackson has instead reached around Mac's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Jackson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

But Harlequin has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Harlequin! The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Harlequin won't allow Guru to sweep him here. Guru working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Harlequin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Harlequin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Harlequin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

That was a close round but I would say that Ground Guru will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ground Guru's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Guru shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Harlequin pinned against the cage. Harlequin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Harlequin scoring well with a low kick there.

Possibly, maybe, no Harlequin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Guru tries to bench press Harlequin off him but Harlequin keeps the position. Harlequin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Harlequin lands with a slapping head kick. Harlequin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Guru, pushing him back against the cage.

Harlequin presses Guru against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Guru has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Harlequin clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Harlequin tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Harlequin is trying to stand up. Guru is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Harlequin has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Harlequin! Harlequin trying to control the position from guard on top but Guru is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Guru controls Harlequin momentarily but Harlequin frees himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guru looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Harlequin won't allow Guru to sweep him here. Guru keeping full guard, as Harlequin tries to pass. Harlequin works a leg free and moves into half guard. Guru wants to improve his position but Harlequin is controlling well.
Harlequin is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Guru sees it coming and defends easily. Harlequin sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Guru defending well though. Guru wants to get back to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guru trying to get back to full guard but Harlequin takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Harlequin looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Guru can't escape the position.
Harlequin tries to control but Guru wriggling away. Guru tries to reverse the position but Harlequin maintains control. Guru regains half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Guru is trying to maintain the position but Harlequin is very close to passing his half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Harlequin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guru does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Punchinello Harlequin really dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ground Guru's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Guru shoots in but no luck this time. Harlequin closes the distance and pushes Guru back into the cage. Guru is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Harlequin is defending well. Harlequin lands a left hand that snaps the head of Guru backwards. Harlequin lands with a short shot to the head. Guru misses with a hook from the clinch. Harlequin lands on the inside with an uppercut. Harlequin misses with a punch to the body.
Harlequin lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A right hand to the body from Harlequin.
Guru takes a shot to the head. Guru jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Harlequin walks away with a smile on his face. Guru gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ground Guru. That's going to take a lot out of him. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Oooooh!!! Harlequin has knocked Guru down with a huge combo! Harlequin steps away and waves a wobbly Guru back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Guru is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Harlequin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oh Guru is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Guru jumps guard but Harlequin turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Nice body punch from Harlequin - that landed with a thud.
Harlequin lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Guru to his knees! Harlequin keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
