 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Hammar or perhaps it was just good defense by Papillia which made him look bad. Hammar throws a sloppy head kick and Papillia moves out of range easily.
Papillia gets caught napping as Hammar dives in and scores a takedown. Papillia manages to retain guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Hammar trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Hammar drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Papillia manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hammar has Papillia in his guard. Papillia pushing down on Hammar's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Papillia is trying to control. Hammar wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Giant shoots in for a takedown but Pritchard shows good takedown defense. Pritchard wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A telegraphed right hand from Pritchard misses the target. Giant avoids a kick to the body.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aguri scores with a punch to the head. Aguri ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nakamura moves away. Aguri tests Nakamura's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nakamura misses with the combination.

Aguri lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nakamura circles away quickly and effectively. Aguri is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Aguri swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Aguri's corner calls for a 1-2. Aguri obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Aguri walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Aguri loads up on a big right hand but Nakamura slips the punch. Nakamura throws out a leg kick but Aguri moves out of range and Nakamura only half commits. Nakamura swings for the body but Aguri moves out of range.
Aguri tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nakamura was well out of range. Poor timing from Aguri. Nakamura misses with a body shot.
Aguri misses with a straight left. Aguri has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Decent striking displayed by Aguri there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nakamura scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Aguri is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nakamura connects with a decent elbow.
Nakamura is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Aguri has escaped the position, nice work there.
 That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nakamura is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Aguri is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Aguri is pushing Nakamura's head away, looking to escape. Nakamura manages to hold on to the position though. Nakamura throws an elbow but Aguri slips to the side and avoids it well. Aguri avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Nakamura. Nakamura trying to control the action but Aguri is working from the bottom.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Nakamura tries to score with some ground and pound. Aguri controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. The strikes coming from Nakamura are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Nakamura working away. Nakamura scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Aguri to see if he's OK. Aguri takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Nakamura in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nakamura throws an elbow but Aguri slips to the side and avoids it well. The strikes coming from Nakamura are missing the target in this wave of attacks.

Nakamura tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Nakamura has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Aguri is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Nakamura has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Nakamura throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Nakamura throws an elbow but Aguri slips to the side and avoids it well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Nakamura scores with a couple of short elbows. An elbow from Nakamura crashes against the mat.
Nakamura in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Aguri looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Nakamura turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones lands with an overhand left.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. A decent looking body kick lands there for Jones. Bakunin throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones.
Bakunin gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Bakunin on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bakunin tries to get out of the position. Jones advances to half guard. Bakunin tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg. Bakunin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Bakunin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bakunin blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jones. Jones is trying to control the action in half guard but Bakunin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Jones seems to be working for a kimura but Bakunin defends the submission attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bones Jones dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

and Jones counters with a head kick that drops Bakunin to the mat! Bakunin scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bakunin takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses. Bakunin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bakunin gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Jones gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bones Jones! Bones Jones is the new light heavyweight champion! A very excited looking Bones Jones made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
