The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pendragon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Muncrief sprawls well initially but Pendragon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Muncrief should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Pendragon is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Muncrief gets caught napping as Pendragon dives in and scores a takedown. Muncrief manages to retain guard.

Pendragon feints and as Muncrief raises his hands in defense, Pendragon changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Pendragon drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pendragon jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Pendragon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Pendragon shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Muncrief napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kappa lands a really nice looking cross but Couture seems unphased.
Couture swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Kappa.

Couture shoots in looking for a takedown but Kappa manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Couture's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
