Liu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Munchkin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Munchkin lets loose with a powerful body kick. Liu will feel that in the morning.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Liu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Munchkin - the referee stops the clock and Liu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Munchkin. Liu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Munchkin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Liu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Munchkin somewhat.

Yi Liu overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Munchkin is looking to regain half guard here but Liu keeps moving and retains side control.
Liu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Liu tries for a kimura but Munchkin is defending well.
Liu is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Munchkin looks calm but he's in trouble here. Liu gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Munchkin is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Liu lets go of the hold and Munchkin can pop his arm back in it's socket.
