The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Churcher throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Trzmiel. A left and a right from Trzmiel both land. Nice combination. Trzmiel lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Churcher fails with the takedown. Trzmiel shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Churcher eats them both and turns towards Trzmiel to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. No luck for Churcher with that takedown attempt. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A slow jab from Fok misses its intended target. Fok closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cruz to the mat! Cruz manages to get full guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Cruz utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Cruz can't keep his opponent in guard - Fok advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Fok sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Cruz defending well though. Fok has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fok throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Fok wants to pass to mount but Cruz is defending the position. Fok lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Fok has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Cruz defend it? Fok steps over the head and cranks it - Cruz is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Fok!

Norris leaves Andersson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Andersson walks into a left hand. Norris cracks Andersson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Norris has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Andersson to stand back up!
Andersson is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Andersson drops his hands momentarily. Norris doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Andersson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Andersson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hunt walks forward, straight into a front kick from Noonan. Noonan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Hunt throws a leg kick but Noonan sees it coming and moves out of range. Noonan tries to clinch and Hunt counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hunt throws a looping overhand right but Noonan ducks down to avoid it. Hunt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Noonan can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hunt is looking to escape. Hunt avoids a series of strikes thrown by Noonan.
Noonan looking for a guillotine from mount but Hunt is having none of it. Noonan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hunt to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hunt shrugs it off. Hunt is squirming around, avoiding Noonan's attempts to control the action. Noonan looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hunt content to stall in guard here. Hunt is fighting to break Noonan's control of his arms but Noonan is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Noonan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Hunt doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hunt manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Noonan is trying to keep Hunt in close.
Hunt must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Noonan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hunt gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Noonan wants to sweep here but Hunt controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Noonan pushes Hunt off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Noonan takes one to the chin there.
