Rasmussen misses with a takedown attempt
and Ferguson counters with a solid body kick.

Ferguson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Rasmussen is letting Ferguson control him for a moment.
Rasmussen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
It looks like Ferguson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Rasmussen is looking to reverse the position.

Ferguson has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Rasmussen is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Ferguson yanks on the arm and Rasmussen is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Ferguson.

Zoom shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Matos throws a nice looking combination but Zoom bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Zoom throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Matos's waist but Matos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zoom off to one side.
Zoom shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Matos as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buddi Zoom. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Matos misses with a wild combination.

Zoom changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Matos looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Zoom has hold of Matos's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Matos seems comfortable defending it but Zoom has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Matos is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Matos is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Zoom couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Vasuta kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is E.S. Posthumus Unstoppable . Valentinov has chosen Ирония as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Vasuta has hold of Valentinov's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Valentinov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Vasuta cranks the arm and Valentinov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Valentinov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
