4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masahiko Kimura! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kimura lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Archie Parchi has been cut. Archie Parchi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Parchi gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kimura counters with a nice body shot. Parchi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kimura throws out the jab. Parchi with a poor takedown and Kimura counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Parchi slips a straight right by Kimura. Kimura rushes Parchi and presses him up against the ropes. Parchi is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kimura pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Archie Parchi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Parchi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kimura is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Parchi is looking for a takedown. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sze looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Sze misses with a series of wild punches.
No joy there for Sze, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sze throws a right and a left that both miss. Sze misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Guru is defended easily by Sze. Nice cross by Sze. Guru checks a leg kick. Some wild striking there from Sze.
Sze throws a nice outside leg kick. Sze swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round. Guru shoots in for a takedown and gets it. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Guru is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Guru tries to pass to full mount but Sze defends it. Guru thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guru passes to full mount! Sze avoids a strike by Guru and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Guru's guard! Fantastic escape!
Guru is pulling down on Sze's head. It's preventing any offense from Sze, at least for the moment. Sze preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Guru is working hard here to advance position. Sze tries to stand but Guru is controlling from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Yeung Sze hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Guru misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Sze.

Sze scores with the left hand. Guru knows he should have avoided that one. Sze feints a jab promting Guru to slip. Sze then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Guru slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Sze swings widly with a right hand
and Guru counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Guru. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Guru passes Sze's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Guru is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sze is just riding it out for now. Guru eventually gives up the hold. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Guru is looking for a kimura here.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ground Guru. That's going to take a lot out of him. Guru shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sze sprawls well. Guru closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Guru working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Guru is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Sze is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's one minute gone in the round. Sze cracks Guru with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Sze goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Sze throws a series of punches but Guru moves out of range. Guru dives in and scores a takedown into Sze's guard. Guru looking to sit in guard and control but Sze gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Guru not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Damn! Guru tries to get back to half guard but can't. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Guru gets back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Guru is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Guru wants to control but Sze is keeping busy and won't allow it. Guru tries to get to full guard but Sze has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guru is trying to maintain the position but Sze is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ground Guru wasn't doing enough on the ground. Guru scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Sze looks like he's trying to stand up.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Guru is looking to advance position but Sze won't allow it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Assis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kjellstrom to the ground. Assis is now in Kjellstrom's guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kjellstrom is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Assis defends well. Assis avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kjellstrom has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Assis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Assis looking to pass the guard. Kjellstrom has his foot on Assis's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Assis works his way back into a safe position though. Assis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Assis in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kjellstrom has his feet on Assis's thighs here. He's pushed Assis off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Assis screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Oppapatika keeping moving, preventing Do from controlling successfully. Do works over Oppapatika with some ground and pound from guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonny Do dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jonny Do's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Do wants to land a leg kick but Oppapatika is out of range. Do misses with a wild body shot. Oppapatika rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Do moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Oppapatika's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Oppapatika duly obliges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Do uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Oppapatika.
Do throws a looping overhand right but Oppapatika ducks down to avoid it. Do closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. Do lands a nice uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Do lands a hook that snaps the head of Oppapatika backwards. Do lands with a short shot to the head. Do tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Oppapatika avoids it. Do lands a right hand.
Oppapatika is rocked! Do breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Oh Oppapatika is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Oppapatika misses with a lunging right hand
and Do counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Oppapatika out cold! What a finish! Do is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!

Bryant tries to pass to full mount but Godcheck defends it. Bryant trying to control from half guard but Godcheck is working away. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bryant is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Godcheck defends it well.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Bryant lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Bryant thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mishima wants to finish this one by submission but Bamoya is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Mishima. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mishima has hold of Bamoya's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bamoya manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Stakanu eats them both and turns towards Jones to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Stakanu is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Stakanu on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Jones scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Stakanu is rocked! Jones drops Stakanu with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stakanu looks back up at him and smiles so Jones waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Oh Stakanu is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stakanu with a lazy takedown attempt and Jones counters with a big right hand! Oh Stakanu is in trouble here! Jones follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
