0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Wang Can! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Naruto Uzumaki! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Uzumaki swats away the attempt to clinch by Can. Can is looking to clinch. Can closes the distance looking to clinch and Uzumaki counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Can throws out a loose jab but Uzumaki uses good head movement to avoid it. Can wants to clinch. Can fails with an attempt to clinch.
Uzumaki gets tackled into the cage by Can. Can maintains the clinch. Uzumaki is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Can to keep the fight standing. Can breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Uzumaki scores with a three punch combo!

Can falls off balance throwing a combination
and Uzumaki counters with a lovely straight right hand! Uzumaki showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Can.

Can tries to close the distance and clinch up but Uzumaki swats him away and circles back towards the center. Can darts in trying to clinch and Uzumaki counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Uzumaki tries to bum rush Can with a series of wild strikes but Can uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Uzumaki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Uzumaki throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Uzumaki connects with a body shot that sends Can's belly button to the back. Sloppy strikes from Uzumaki. Those never looked like landing. Uzumaki keeps the fight on the outside. Can wants to clinch. Uzumaki cracks Can with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uzumaki circles away from the clinch attempt and Uzumaki counters with a stiff right hand. Uzumaki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

and Uzumaki counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Can goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Can misses with a wild body shot. No joy there for Uzumaki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Can tries to clinch but Uzumaki moves away and Uzumaki counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Can tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Uzumaki throws a body punch but Can moves out of range. Can forces Uzumaki back against the cage and clinches. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Uzumaki tries to pull guard but Can won't allow it.
Can tries to score a body lock takedown but Uzumaki shows good agility there to stay on his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Naruto Uzumaki will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Can tries to clinch but Uzumaki moves away and Uzumaki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wang Can is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Uzumaki tries to bum rush Can with a series of wild strikes but Can uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wang Can seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A cross from Uzumaki lands. Can looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Can throws a nice looking combination but Uzumaki bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Good leg kick by Can there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Naruto Uzumaki seems to be getting the better of the standup. Uzumaki lands with a good body shot. Can throws a sloppy head kick and Uzumaki moves out of range easily. Can tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Uzumaki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A nice combination there by Uzumaki.
Can tries to close the distance and clinch but Uzumaki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Uzumaki throws a good cross that connects.
That's one minute gone in the round. Can tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Uzumaki paws at him with a jab and circles away. Uzumaki circles away from the clinch attempt.
Uzumaki cracks Can with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Uzumaki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Can instigates a clinch. Can jumps guard but Uzumaki stands there with Can around his waist. Can gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Can pulls Uzumaki into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Can wants to get back to his feet but Uzumaki is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Uzumaki wants to get up but he can't break Can's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Can throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Uzumaki stands up from guard. Let's bang! Uzumaki throws a series of strikes that have Can backpedaling.
Can walks into a left hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Uzumaki scores with a jab to the head.
Can misses with a body kick. Uzumaki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Can circles away quickly and effectively. Uzumaki's corner calls for a 1-2. Uzumaki obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Uzumaki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Can tries to close the distance and clinch but Uzumaki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Uzumaki lands with a nice combination. Can backs away looking to recover. Can is looking to clinch but Uzumaki is avoiding it.

Uzumaki's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A lazy left from Uzumaki finds it's target. Uzumaki lands the left hand. Can throws a body kick that misses. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Naruto Uzumaki will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Uzumaki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Can moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Can tries to clinch and Uzumaki makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Can misses with a jab to the body
and Uzumaki counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Can thinking. Uzumaki lands a head shot. Can tries to clinch up and Uzumaki counters with a straight right hand. Can misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Uzumaki ducks under a wild hook from Can. Can throws an overhand right that lands on Uzumaki's shoulder, as Uzumaki tries to avoid the shot. Uzumaki listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Can moves in looking to clinch but Uzumaki pushes him off. Can closes the distance and clinches. Uzumaki pulls guard effortlessly. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Uzumaki can do anything to dispel that myth. Can wants to control from the top but Uzumaki keeps moving. Uzumaki wants to stand up but Can is controlling him. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Can controlling from the top position.

Wang Can has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Can throws a combination that misses and Uzumaki counters with a left to the body. Uzumaki lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Can at a distance.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wang Can. I think Uzumaki has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doi looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Doi stands up out of the half guard. Doi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bao lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Bao misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bao gets in close and instigates a clinch. Doi gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bao tries to kick Doi off but Doi keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Bao is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Doi uses his free foot to push down on Bao's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bao. Bao takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Bao is looking to improve his position but Doi isn't that keen on the idea. Doi breaks from Bao's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Doi looking to control and managing it successfully. Doi wants to finish this one by submission but Bao is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Doi. Doi with the ground and pound from mount. A nice elbow there by Doi. Doi lands a nice shot to the head. Doi controlling his opponent. Bao tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doi landing shots from mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Doi landing punches. Doi scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Doi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Doi landing punches.
Bao is rocked! Doi postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Bao bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Doi and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yoshi Doi! After the fight, Yoshi Doi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sawa gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Sawa takes one to the chin there. Jab, jab by Yuanjiao - just one landing.
It looks like Jake Sawa has been cut. Yuanjiao missing with a left hand there. Sawa was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Yuanjiao throws a series of punches but Sawa moves out of range. Yuanjiao cracks Sawa with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Yuanjiao has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Sawa to stand back up!
Sawa is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sawa finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Yuanjiao's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Sawa falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Wong Yuanjiao! Wong Yuanjiao took to the microphone after his victory and thanked his sponsors, Brand New Life for their support in the buildup to the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Deathgrip. Ingvar scores with a nice body kick.
Ingvar defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Deathgrip. Ingvar lands with an uppercut that bounces Deathgrip off the cage and back into range. Deathgrip will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A slow jab from Ingvar misses its intended target. Deathgrip misses with a wild combination.
Deathgrip changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ingvar tries to avoid it but Deathgrip manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ingvar to the ground. Ingvar escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Yngve Ingvar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shadow Deathgrip. Ingvar misses with a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Deathgrip thows a leg kick but Ingvar checks it and Ingvar counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Deathgrip fails to land the takedown. Ingvar throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ingvar lands a high kick!
It looks like Shadow Deathgrip has been cut. Ingvar pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Deathgrip is rocked! Deathgrip looks to throw the jab but Ingvar is out of range. Deathgrip is still on wobbly legs! Can Ingvar finish him? Deathgrip misses with an uppercut. Ingvar saw that one coming. Deathgrip seems to have recovered his senses. Deathgrip is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Ingvar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ingvar slips under a jab. Ingvar drops Deathgrip with a huge uppercut! Deathgrip drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Ingvar is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yngve Ingvar! Yngve Ingvar retains his welterweight title! After winning the bout, Yngve Ingvar thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
