 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strange drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Strange trying to control the position but Denderson is working away. Denderson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Strange is thwarting Denderson's attempts to control the position. Strange sitting and controlling from the half guard. Denderson wants to get back to full guard.
Denderson looking for submissions off his back. Denderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Strange is working away from the top position though. Denderson works his way to full guard. Good work.
Strange is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Denderson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Strange is looking to defend but Denderson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Strange! Denderson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Strange taps out and this one is all over!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savage fails to land with a series of punches.
Savage catches Locke with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Locke defending well as Savage loads up on a big left hand. Savage is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Locke. Savage misses with an uppercut. Savage misses with a double jab
and Locke counters with a left to the body. Savage scores with a sloppy right hand. Locke should have avoided that one.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a quick inside leg kick. Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones moves into the clinch. Jones is trying to drag Miletich to the mat but Miletich just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Miletich wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jones has him pressed against the cage. Miletich is looking to break free of the clinch but Jones has double underhooks. Miletich blocking some punches.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Miletich lands with a nice body punch.
Jones rushes Miletich and presses him up against the cage. Miletich wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jones is trying to drag Miletich to the mat but Miletich just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

 That's one minute gone in the round. Miletich fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it. Jones takes one to the chin there. Miletich misses with a double jab.
Miletich stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Miletich misses with a wild body shot. Miletich scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Jones moves in looking to clinch but Miletich pushes him off. Jones takes one to the side of the head.
Miletich with a hook. Miletich is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jones misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jones throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Jones throws a leg kick but Miletich moved away. Jones has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Miletich finds it's way round the side to connect with Jones's head. Miletich swats away the attempt to clinch by Jones. Bas Miletich is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Miletich avoids a kick to the body.
Miletich is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Jones is breathing heavily. Miletich thuds a left hand into Jones's body. Jones takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Miletich fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Miletich throws a shot to the body.
Miletich changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Miletich scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
 Jones is rocked! Jones tries to clinch there but Miletich circles away.
Miletich lands a jab-cross combination. Oh Jones is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Miletich with a body punch. A glancing blow. Miletich lands a nice shot to the body.
Miletich lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Jones falls backwards - clearly groggy! Miletich dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Miller. Schmelly does a little dance to reset his feet. Miller misses with a kick to the body.
Miller gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Miller has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Schmelly clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Schmelly defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Miller's arms. Schmelly trying to control the hands but Miller breaks the grip. Schmelly is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Schmelly tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Miller with good strikes from the mount here! This has been an exciting period of action! Miller with the ground and pound from mount. Schmelly tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Schmelly tries to reverse the position but Miller maintains control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Schmelly wants to hold on but Miller pushes him away. Miller putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Miller takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Schmelly in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schmelly sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

This has been an exciting period of action! Schmelly is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Schmelly is trying to control Miller's posture but Miller avoids it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Miller working the ground and pound. Schmelly wants to control but Miller postures up. Miller cracks Schmelly with a big right hand but Schmelly just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Schmelly wants to control but Miller postures up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Harrison misses with a takedown attempt - Battle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Harrison shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Battle as he jumps to the side.

 We're going to have a standup here because Dre Battle wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Battle looks to clinch and Harrison counters with a right hand to the body. Harrison fails with a takedown attempt. Dre Battle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brady Harrison.
Harrison clinches. Harrison tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Battle smiles and moves away.

Battle gets tackled into the cage by Harrison. Harrison maintains the clinch. Battle jumps guard but Harrison turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Battle tries to pull guard but Harrison won't allow it.

Harrison is trying to trip Battle. He has hold of a leg but Battle is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Harrison persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Harrison wants to control from the top but Battle keeps moving. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Harrison forces his way into half guard. Harrison sitting and controlling from the half guard.

Battle is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
 That's five minutes gone in the round. Battle being controlled here, momentarily. Harrison throwing strikes from guard but Battle blocks nicely. Battle keeping moving, preventing Harrison from controlling successfully. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Harrison might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Battle kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
 Brady Harrison has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Battle motions for Harrison to come forward. Battle throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Harrison fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Battle closes the distance and clinches up with Harrison, looking for a takedown. Battle pushes Harrison against the cage but Harrison circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Harrison throws a nice looking combination but Battle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Battle scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Harrison stands and steps away. Battle gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Harrison throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Battle misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Harrison.

Harrison manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Battle on his heels. He'll look to pass Battle's guard now, I'm sure. Harrison slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Battle controls Harrison momentarily but Harrison frees himself.
 That's seven minutes gone in the round. Harrison trying to control but Battle is working from the bottom. Battle is looking to stand up but Harrison isn't so interested in that idea. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Battle utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Harrison passes Battle's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Harrison controlling the action here. It looks like Harrison might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Harrison is trying to control the action in half guard but Battle is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
 The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Brady Harrison wasn't active enough on the ground. Harrison throws a half hearted mid kick.

Harrison has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Battle after a bit of a struggle. Battle is trying to maintain a safe position but Harrison gets an underhook and turns Battle into the cage. Harrison lands a hook that snaps the head of Battle backwards.
