Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dutch Schaeffer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pep Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Schaeffer might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Long Tall Sally. Hernandez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Heart Vacnacy- the wanted. 12 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pep Hernandez! The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hernandez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Schaeffer counters with a good low kick that Hernandez was not able to check. Hernandez throws a nice looking combination but Schaeffer bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Schaeffer scores with a head kick. Hernandez tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Hernandez throws a right and a left that Schaeffer avoids nicely. Schaeffer tries to clinch but Hernandez moves out of range. Hernandez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Schaeffer doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Hernandez throws a combination that misses and Schaeffer counters with a head kick.
Hernandez is rocked!
It looks like Pep Hernandez has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Look low, kick high! Schaeffer uses the oldest trick in the book to send Hernandez tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Schaeffer is absolutely delighted - when Hernandez wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Dutch Schaeffer! After winning the bout, Dutch Schaeffer thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ubereem on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Flint. Flint obviously looking to wear him down.
Flint wants to clinch. Flint connects with an inside leg kick. Flint misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Flint misses with a head kick.
Ubereem scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Flint doesn't seem bothered though. Ubereem circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ubereem throws a left and a right that both miss
and Flint counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ubereem lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Jack Flint seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ubereem connects with the punch.
Flint is rocked! Ubereem moves out of range of the leg kick from Flint. Flint is still on wobbly legs! Can Ubereem finish him? A telegraphed right hand from Ubereem misses the target. A head kick by Ubereem - that's a beauty! Flint is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Ubereem can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Alistair Ubereem! A very excited looking Alistair Ubereem made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

The fighters circling - Quik Phish throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Oleynik tries to keep at a distance but Quik Phish has taken the fight into the clinch. Oleynik tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Quik Phish avoids it. Oleynik is trying to pull guard but Quik Phish has him pressed against the cage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Oleynik trying to control the position but instead, Quik Phish has worked for underhooks and has pushed Oleynik into the cage. Oleynik wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Oleynik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Oleynik connects with a jab. Quik Phish misses with a hook. Oleynik ducked under it nicely. Quik Phish takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Quik Phish fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oleynik manages to avoid it. Oleynik closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Oleynik keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Quik Phish. A slapping leg kick lands for Oleynik.

Oleynik's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Quik Phish on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Oleynik moves into range and connects with a jab. Quik Phish misses with a straight left. Quik Phish throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Quik Phish throws a right hand that Oleynik ducks under and follows up with a left that Oleynik also avoids with ease. Quik Phish throws a lazy uppercut
and Oleynik counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Quik Phish thinking. Quik Phish is breathing heavily. Oleynik moves out of range as Quik Phish strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aleskei Oleynik dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Oleynik takes a step backwards and waves Quik Phish back to his feet - he wants the finish! Oh Quik Phish is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Quik Phish misses with a lunging right hand
and Oleynik counters with a stiff right hand. An inside leg kick lands from Oleynik. Oleynik throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Quik Phish throws a right hand that misses
and Oleynik counters with a low kick, right behind Quik Phish 's knee. Quik Phish seems to have got his legs back now. Quik Phish fails to land with a series of punches.
Oleynik dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Quik Phish. That did some damage! Oleynik closes the distance and lands a one-two. Quik Phish is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Quik Phish misses with a looping left.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oleynik connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Quik Phish tumbling to the canvas! Oleynik pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Quik Phish was done - good stoppage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inoki fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rock is out of range. Rock showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Inoki.

Rock scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Rock trying to pass the guard but Inoki defending well. Inoki is trying to get back to full guard. Inoki is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Rock pulls his head out easily. Inoki wants to control but Rock is keeping busy and won't allow it. Inoki is refusing to be controlled, as Rock sits in half guard. Inoki is looking to control Rock's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Inoki avoid being mounted? Rock takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Rock landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Inoki actively working from the bottom here.

Inoki on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Inoki tries to get out of the position. Rock sitting and controlling from the half guard. Inoki blocking the ground and pound attempt from Rock. Rock wants to pass the guard but Inoki is defending well. Rock landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Rock prevents Inoki from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rock tries to pass the half guard into mount. Inoki knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Rock prevents Inoki from improving his position. Rock is keen to just control but Inoki is a slippery customer. Rock drops an elbow to the side of Inoki's head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rock is trying to control the action in half guard but Inoki is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Inoki has his hands clasped together around Rock's back. He's all about the action. Inoki tries to get to full guard but Rock has control of the leg.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Keller Rock. Inoki stuffs the takedown attempt from Rock. Rock gets slowly back to his feet. Antonio Inoki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keller Rock.

Inoki tries to avoid it but Rock manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Inoki to the ground. Inoki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rock fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Rock shoots in and drives through. Inoki sprawls well. Rock shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Inoki as he jumps to the side. Inoki scores with a body shot.
Inoki throws a right and a left that both miss. Rock has his takedown stuffed and Inoki counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Inoki is looking to clinch. Rock looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rock doesn't succeed with the takedown and Inoki counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rock takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Inoki's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Inoki duly obliges. A right-left combo lands from Inoki. Inoki tries to close the distance and clinch but Rock swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A punch lands to the side of Rock 's head but he takes it in his stride. Rock gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Inoki counters with a series of strikes. Rock will be more careful next time no doubt. Inoki moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Rock is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rock gets the takedown into side control. Rock trying to control the action but Inoki is working from the bottom. Inoki is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Inoki manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Inoki wants to sweep here but Rock controlling him for the moment. Rock stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Inoki swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rock throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Inoki works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Rock is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Inoki tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rock passes into half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Rock wants to pass the guard but Inoki is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rock takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rock fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Inoki avoids it really well and circles away. No joy there for Inoki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
That's one minute gone in the round. Inoki throws a right and a left that both miss. Inoki slaps away a takedown attempt from Rock, before circling back to the center of the mat. Rock doesn't succeed with the takedown and Inoki makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Rock looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Rock has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Inoki trying to control here.
Inoki tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Rock has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Rock is landing with some decent strikes but Inoki is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Inoki regains half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rock throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Rock passes to full mount! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Inoki takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Rock working away from the top, dropping strikes. Inoki is in a horrible position here. Rock smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Rock lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Inoki is desperately trying to improve his position but Rock has a good base and remains in mount. Inoki wants to hold on but Rock pushes him away. Inoki sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Inoki's head. Rock seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Rock tries to pass the half guard into mount. The ref stands the fighters back up. Keller Rock was stalling too much, according to the referee. Inoki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rock takes a shot right to the bread basket. Rock doesn't succeed with the takedown and Inoki counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. A right-left combo lands from Inoki. Rock shoots in for a takedown but Inoki shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Inoki punishes Rock's body with a nice straight punch. Rock changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Inoki looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. You can see the frustration on Inoki's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Inoki tries to bench press Rock off him but Rock keeps the position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Inoki is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Rock's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Inoki wants to improve his position but Rock is controlling well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Redd closes the distance and clinches up with Keto, looking for a takedown. Redd pushes Keto against the cage but Keto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Redd has his takedown stuffed and Keto counters with a slapping leg kick. Keto's jab looks to have found its range, popping Redd under the eye. The fight moves into the clinch position. Redd works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
