The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reagan darts in and clinches Sweet up against the cage.

Sweet pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Reagan is keeping the position for now.
Sweet controls from within his opponent's guard.
Sweet throwing strikes but missing.

Sweet got a little sloppy there for a moment and Reagan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Sweet has managed to get both his arms back between Reagan's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sweet stopping the sweep attempt from Reagan.
Sweet sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reagan's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sweet accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Sweet knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reagan on the ground.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
BOOM! Sweet connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Reagan is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

I think Abrum might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Leave Home. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Born throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Abrum's waist but Abrum gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Born off to one side.
Abrum uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Born.
Born throws a leg kick but Abrum sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Born closes this distance looking for a takedown but Abrum circles away.
Born tries to close the distance and clinch but Abrum swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Born displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Abrum.
Kevin Born seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Born changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Abrum tries to avoid it but Born manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Abrum to the ground. Abrum escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
