The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nyan avoids the head kick by Lajza.

Dergffe throws a nice looking combination but Paro bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Paro feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Dergffe's calf. Paro feints and then cracks Dergffe's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dergffe down. Dergffe looks for a takedown but Paro sprawls well. Paro lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Paro sprawls well initially but Dergffe persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Dergffe slips a nice elbow through Paro's hands, connecting with Paro's forehead. Paro is looking for a sweep. Dergffe is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Dergffe is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Still in half guard, Dergffe seems content to control. Dergffe seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Paro for as long as he can get away with. Dergffe scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Great action here. Dergffe shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Paro's guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dergffe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Paro swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Paro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dergffe circles away quickly and effectively. Dergffe misses with a wild body shot. Dergffe closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Dergffe with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Dergffe landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Paro is breathing heavily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Paro can do anything to dispel that myth. Dergffe is controlling the pace.

It looks like Akira Kazama has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rei's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Djoser Rei seems to be getting the better of the standup. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kupno chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rei can pounce on him.
Rei throws a push kick but Kupno slaps the foot to one side. Rei tries to clinch up but Kupno circles away and keeps his distance. Rei has taken the fight to the clinch.

Franciszek Kupno has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rei. Rei throws a leg kick that is checked and Kupno counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kupno throws a body kick that misses. Rei throws a leg kick but Kupno sees it coming and checks it nicely. Kupno cracks Rei with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Rei misses with a leg kick. Rei tries to close the distance and clinch but Kupno swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Rei looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Djoser Rei is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Rei throws a head kick that misses and Kupno counters with a nice body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Djoser Rei comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Rei has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
