The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Douglas Key shoots in looking for a takedown. Miller tries to sprawl out of it but Douglas Key keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Miller manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Douglas Key shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Miller napping and manages to drive through into side control! Douglas Key lands a few punches from side control. Miller takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Miller parries the strikes from Douglas Key easily there. Douglas Key is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Miller to escape.

Miller gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! The referee warns Miller that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joe Jitsu! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNutt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McNutt wants to get up but he can't break Jitsu's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jitsu wants to sweep but no luck. Jitsu has an active guard here but McNutt has managed to pass into half guard.
Jitsu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jitsu looking for submissions off his back. McNutt is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Jitsu tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. McNutt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jitsu on the ground. McNutt escapes and gets back to his feet. McNutt takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
McNutt shoots in and bounces Jitsu off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! McNutt gets to his feet. Jitsu looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
That's one minute gone in the round. McNutt dives in and scores a takedown into Jitsu's guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Jitsu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and McNutt defends well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McNutt wants to stand but Jitsu has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Jitsu is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but McNutt frees his head nicely. Oh but Jitsu has switched to an armbar! McNutt is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helix swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Helix throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A slow jab from Deng misses its intended target. Deng's jab looks to have found its range, popping Helix under the eye. Helix tries to land a front kick but Deng steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Helix lands the left hand. Helix dodges the punch combination from Deng.
Helix tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Deng swivels and escapes. Helix loads up on a big right hand but Deng slips the punch. Helix ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Nice defenses there by Helix. Helix fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Deng is out of range. It connects and Erikson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Erikson lands with an uppercut that bounces Jameson Iii off the cage and back into range. Jameson Iii throws a low kick, looking for Erikson's leg but Erikson calmly moves out of range. Jameson Iii feints and then cracks Erikson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Erikson down. Jameson Iii fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Erikson. This has been an exciting period of action! Jameson Iii tries a head kick but it misses.

It looks like Magnus Poulsen has been cut. Amnesia ducks under a wild hook from Poulsen. Poulsen with a jab. Amnesia tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Amnesia ducks under a wild hook from Poulsen. Poulsen fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Amnesia looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. and Amnesia counters with a straight right hand. Poulsen throws an overhand right that lands on Amnesia's shoulder, as Amnesia tries to avoid the shot. Poulsen dodges the punch combination from Amnesia.
Poulsen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Amnesia. Poulsen misses with a body shot
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Amnesia doesn't manage to clinch there - Poulsen circles away.

Amnesia tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Poulsen paws at him with a jab and circles away. Amnesia fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Amnesia uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Poulsen. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Santucho shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McDonald as he jumps to the side. McDonald throws a leg kick that misses. Santucho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. McDonald with a hook. Santucho shoots for a takedown but McDonald saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mitch McDonald has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pablo Santucho. McDonald uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Santucho.
Santucho fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging McDonald to the ground. Santucho is now in McDonald's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Santucho is looking to advance position but McDonald has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! McDonald trying to control but Santucho is having none of it. McDonald takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Santucho gets back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santucho tries to roll over but McDonald keeps him under control. Santucho is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. McDonald wants to take a breather but Santucho is having none of it. McDonald perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Santucho is controlling McDonald's position as best he can from this difficult position.

Santucho shoots in for a takedown but McDonald shows good takedown defense. Santucho slips a jab and a cross from McDonald.
