The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Latrell fails with a takedown attempt. Latrell looks for the body kick but Cola saw that one coming. Latrell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cola shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cola slaps away a takedown attempt from Latrell, before circling back to the center of the mat. Latrell shoots in for a double leg but Cola sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corbin Latrell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Latrell has his takedown stuffed and Cola counters with a shoot takedown. Latrell fights it but they end up in guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Latrell lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Cola! Cola is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Latrell tries to keep at a distance but Cola has taken the fight into the clinch. Latrell misses with the head strike.

Cola really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Latrell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cola is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Latrell drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Cola manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Latrell has Cola in his guard. Cola must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Cola looking to pass the guard. Latrell is looking for a guillotine. Latrell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cola swats him away and circles back towards the center. Latrell shoots and misses and Cola counters with a straight punch to the midsection. No luck with that takedown attempt from Latrell. Latrell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cola as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corbin Latrell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Latrell tries to close the distance and clinch but Cola swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Cola closes the distance and clinches. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cola prevents the takedown attempt.

Cola pulls Latrell in close to prevent any damage. Let's hope that Cola has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Latrell might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Greg Cola. Latrell rushes Cola and presses him up against the cage. Cola breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Cola trying to mount his opponent but Latrell defends it. Cola is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cola can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Latrell is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Cola rolls with it to try and escape but Latrell cranks on the arm and Cola is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Coke lands with an uppercut that bounces Gamburyan off the cage and back into range. Gamburyan moves forwards but Coke connects with a nice, crisp jab. Coke throws a lazy uppercut
and Gamburyan decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Coke's guard. Gamburyan trying to control but Coke is working from the bottom. Gamburyan preventing the sweep. Gamburyan sitting in guard, not really doing much. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gamburyan falls to his knees and Coke doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rampaasi tries for a takedown but Reach circles away easily and Reach counters with a stiff right hand. Reach catches Rampaasi with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Rampaasi shoots in for a takedown but Reach shows good takedown defense. Rampaasi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Reach's waist but Reach gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rampaasi off to one side. Tanner Reach has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quinton Rampaasi. Rampaasi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reach circles away. Wisniewski got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bandicoot has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wisniewski has managed to get both his arms back between Bandicoot's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Crash Bandicoot will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bandicoot working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Wisniewski's thigh. Wisniewski counters though and makes it back to full guard. Wisniewski controlling the position. Wisniewski keeping moving, preventing Bandicoot from controlling successfully. Bandicoot has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wisniewski is proving hard to escape from. Wisniewski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bandicoot's guard. Wisniewski passes Bandicoot's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Wisniewski wants to pass the guard but Bandicoot is defending well. Wisniewski is looking to take a break and control but Bandicoot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
