Mcgee has chosen McGee as his entrance music. Timothy Mcgee struggled to make weight for this fight. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Janek Grzmot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 14 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Timothy Mcgee! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grzmot scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mcgee doesn't seem bothered though. Grzmot throws a body kick that misses. Mcgee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Grzmot moves away. Mcgee shoots in for a takedown but Grzmot shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Mcgee just misses with a punch to the body.
Grzmot lands with a straight right. Mcgee didn't see that one coming. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Mcgee checks a leg kick. Grzmot throws a low kick but Mcgee moves out of range easily. Mcgee avoids the body shot from Grzmot.
Mcgee stuns Grzmot with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Mcgee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Grzmot swivels and escapes. Grzmot throws an overhand right that lands on Mcgee's shoulder, as Mcgee tries to avoid the shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mcgee goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Mcgee defending well as Grzmot loads up on a big left hand. Grzmot throws a sloppy head kick and Mcgee moves out of range easily. Grzmot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mcgee with a poor takedown and Grzmot counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Janek Grzmot has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Timothy Mcgee. Grzmot throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Grzmot tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Mcgee was well out of range. Poor timing from Grzmot.

Mcgee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mcgee lands in his opponent's guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Grzmot working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mcgee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mcgee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Grzmot keeping moving, preventing Mcgee from controlling successfully. Grzmot controls Mcgee momentarily but Mcgee frees himself. Mcgee drops back looking for a leg! Grzmot is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Grzmot manages to kick Mcgee off! Mcgee jumps back into Grzmot's guard. Mcgee is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcgee wants to control from the top but Grzmot keeps moving. Grzmot is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Grzmot looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Mcgee works his way back into a safe position though. Mcgee trying to control the position from guard on top but Grzmot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Timothy Mcgee hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Grzmot pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mcgee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Grzmot sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Mcgee somewhat. A looping hook to the body misses from Grzmot. Mcgee does a little dance to reset his feet. Grzmot dodges the punch combination from Mcgee.
Grzmot is looking to clinch. Grzmot scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grzmot stuffs the takedown attempt from Mcgee. Mcgee gets slowly back to his feet. Grzmot slaps away a takedown attempt from Mcgee, before circling back to the center of the mat. Horrible takedown by Mcgee or perhaps it was just good defense by Grzmot which made him look bad. Mcgee shoots and misses and Mcgee takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Grzmot stuffs the takedown. Grzmot tries to close the distance and clinch but Mcgee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A cross from Grzmot lands. Grzmot chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Janek Grzmot is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Mcgee looks gassed! Grzmot swings away with a leg kick that misses. Grzmot lands a big head kick that sends Mcgee to the canvas! Grzmot follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

It looks like Duncan Ferguson has been cut. Atomic throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ferguson throws a hook to the side of Atomic's head but Atomic sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ferguson throws a hook but Atomic blocks it. Atomic uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ferguson. Atomic clinches up against the ropes. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ferguson is trying to break free. Atomic lands with a light punch inside. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Ferguson as Atomic tries to tie him up. Ferguson digs a right hand into Atomic's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Atomic's gas tank. Ferguson misses with some punches.
Ferguson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Atomics head. Ferguson tries to break the clinch but Atomic is controlling the position. Ferguson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes. A nice right hand lands inside from Atomic. Ferguson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Ferguson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Atomic sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ferguson stands up. Atomic avoids a punch combination nicely.

Ferguson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Atomic tries to avoid it but Ferguson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Atomic to the ground. Atomic lands with an uppercut that bounces Ferguson off the ropes and back into range. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Atomic dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Atomic swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ferguson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Atomic on the side of the head. Atomic clobbers Ferguson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ferguson throws a jab when Atomic was well out of range. Ferguson takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Atomic throws a monster overhand right that drops Ferguson! Atomic follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jennsensen. Jennsensen throws a body punch but Matthews moves out of range. Raphael Matthews seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Matthews lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Matthews lands a really nice looking cross but Jennsensen seems unphased.

Matthews tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A momentary lapse in concentration from Matthews enables Jennsensen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Matthews manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Matthews seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. That was a close round but I would say that Raphael Matthews will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jennsensen is on top in guard.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Matthews's guard. Jennsensen is working for a submission of some sort.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jennsensen is looking for a kimura but Matthews is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Jennsensen to get the leverage. Jennsensen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Matthews defends it well. Jennsensen wants to take a breather but Matthews is having none of it. Matthews is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Jennsensen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Jennsensen's back! Matthews has the hooks in. Jennsensen is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matthews controlling the position well here. Jennsensen rolled but Matthews kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black throws a looping overhand right but Brown ducks down to avoid it. Brown takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
It looks like David Brown has been cut. Black defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brown. A right-left combo lands from Black. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Brown shoots for a double leg takedown but Black sprawls well. He's pushed Brown's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Brown tries to clinch up. Black plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Brown to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Brown just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Coughlin is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Coughlin tries to pass to full mount but Beucher defends it. Coughlin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Beucher is just riding it out for now. Coughlin eventually gives up the hold.

Coughlin is looking to take a break and control but Beucher is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Coughlin goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Beucher has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Coughlin but great work by Beucher. Coughlin tries to bench press Beucher off him but Beucher keeps the position. Coughlin manages to get back to half guard. Beucher is looking to advance position but Coughlin won't allow it.

Well Coughlin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Vitalenko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Shrew circles away quickly and effectively.

Shrew was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Vitalenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shrew moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Shrew throws a body punch but Vitalenko moves out of range. Vitalenko throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Shrew misses the shot to the body. Shrew shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vitalenko pinned against the ropes. Vitalenko gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Vitalenko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Shrew. That did some damage!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shrew connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Shrew ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Shrew throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Vitalenko's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Shrew connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Vitalenko scrambles back to his feet. Shrew scores with a hook. Shrew lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shrew on the wrong end of a nice jab. Shrew scores with a shot to the body.
Vitalenko goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Vitalenko fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Shrew is out of range.

A close round but Jurij Vitalenko will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Vitalenko ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Vitalenko lands a big uppercut and Shrew crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Shrew looks OK. Vitalenko waves Shrew back to his feet!
Shrew is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Shrew connects with a single shot there. Oh Shrew is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Shrew tries to clinch but Vitalenko moves away and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. That kick from Vitalenko tenderised Shrew's leg. Shrew is trying to keep his angry face on. Shrew on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Vitalenko. Vitalenko obviously looking to wear him down.
Are you kidding me?! Vitalenko ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Shrew clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Baggins with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. St James lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. St James seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Baggins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Baggins wants to get back to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mariusz Zakrzewski will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
