Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Django Stochelo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Suzuki Hayabusa! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stochelo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Hayabusa lands a shoulder strike. Stochelo goes for a takedown attempt but Hayabusa pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hayabusa misses with a looping right. Stochelo slips under a jab. Stochelo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hayabusa. Stochelo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Stochelo ducks under a wild hook from Hayabusa. Stochelo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hayabusa avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Django Stochelo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stochelo misses with a takedown attempt - Hayabusa sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Hayabusa thows a body shot but no joy. Hayabusa misses with a hook. Stochelo ducked under it nicely. Suzuki Hayabusa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hayabusa stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hayabusa wants it to stay on the feet. Stochelo shoots for a takedown but Hayabusa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hayabusa gets the takedown into side control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Hayabusa wants to control but Stochelo is keeping him busy. Hayabusa working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Stochelo wants to control but Hayabusa postures up. Stochelo is not content to let Hayabusa control the position. Hayabusa has knee on belly and moves into mount. Stochelo tries to lock up and control but Hayabusa gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hayabusa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stochelo is looking to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stochelo tries to hold on but Hayabusa postures up. Hayabusa jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Stochelo manages to avoid the submission attempt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stochelo struggling a bit here. Hayabusa tries for a kimura but Stochelo is defending well. Hayabusa is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Stochelo looks calm but he's in trouble here. Hayabusa gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Stochelo is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Hayabusa lets go of the hold and Stochelo can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Hart misses. Hart moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Hart tries a head kick but it misses.
McCallester is looking to clinch but Hart is avoiding it.
Hart wants to slow McCallester down by chopping away at his legs. McCallester tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hart manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McCallester tries to clinch but Hart is having none of it. Hart tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCallester was well out of range. Poor timing from Hart. McCallester rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hart moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McCallester tries to clinch but Hart is having none of it. McCallester throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hart throws a front kick aimed at McCallester's knee but McCallester avoids it well. McCallester throws a shot from downtown. Hart moves away and avoids it. McCallester tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hart swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hart scores with a hook. McCallester misses with a head kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hart lands with a shot to the body. McCallester gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

McCallester tries a low kick but Hart avoids it. McCallester throws a hook to the side of Hart's head but Hart sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. McCallester misses with a head kick.
McCallester wants to land a leg kick but Hart is out of range. McCallester moves into the clinch. Hart working some nice short punches in the clinch. Hart manages to break the clinch.

Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Castro arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ljevpo with a poor takedown and Helm counters by moving into the clinch. Helm pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Helm wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Ljevpo has Helm pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Helm manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Ljevpo wants to take the fight to the mat but Helm manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Opaki Ljevpo. That's going to take a lot out of him. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Helm. Helm misses with an elbow strike.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A decent looking body kick lands there for Turner. Mikkelson throws a jab when Turner was well out of range. Mikkelson takes a swing at Turner's ribcage but misses. Mikkelson walks forward, straight into a front kick from Turner. Turner lands a head kick. Mikkelson smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Turner connects with a solid leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Turner explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Turner lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Turner ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Turner moves away from the strike by Mikkelson. Turner rushes Mikkelson and presses him up against the cage. Mikkelson lands a nice uppercut. Turner scores with a knee to the head.
