Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Emerson Kinho! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Litwin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kinho gets in close and instigates a clinch. Litwin has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kinho regains guard immediately. Kinho has his foot on Litwin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Litwin works his way back into a safe position though. Litwin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Litwin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kinho is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kinho has escaped and now he's on top! Kinho wants to control from the top but Litwin keeps moving. Litwin had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kinho defends it easily. Litwin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Kinho wants to control from the top but Litwin keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kinho postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kinho must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Litwin throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Litwin avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Kinho. Kinho tries to pass the half guard into mount. Litwin knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Litwin tries to score a body lock takedown but Kinho shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Litwin has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Kinho clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Kinho trying to get back to his feet but Litwin is in full control for now. Kinho defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kinho looking to stop the rear naked choke attempt by controlling the hands. Litwin has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Kinho has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
That's one minute gone in the round. Litwin has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Kinho is trying to stand back up. Litwin is persistently looking for the submission but Kinho is defending it well.
Litwin has the hooks in. Kinho is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Kinho tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Kinho is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Litwin cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Kinho closes the distance and clinches. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Litwin is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kinho is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Litwin to the mat. Litwin regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Kinho throwing strikes but missing. Kinho advances to half guard. Kinho throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Kinho is thwarting Litwin's attempts to control the position. Kinho fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Litwin, pushing him back against the cage. Kinho pushes off an throws an elbow but Litwin leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Litwin is trying to drag Kinho to the mat but Kinho just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kinho gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Litwin is looking to improve his position.

Litwin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kinho gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Litwin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Litwin throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Litwin is trying to work for a sweep but Kinho has mounted him! Litwin regains half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Litwin makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Litwin. Kinho throws a strike but Litwin rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Kinho wants to sweep but no luck.

Kinho wants to get back to his feet but Litwin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Litwin cracks Kinho with a solid left hand. Kinho is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Litwin gets to his feet - Kinho follows without any prompting.

Litwin has his hands clasped together around Kinho's back. He's all about the action. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Litwin wants to get back to full guard. Robert Litwin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kinho thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Litwin's head. Kinho throwing shots but Litwin is blocking nicely. Kinho is trying to work for a kimura but Litwin is defending well.

And that's the end of the fight! Emerson Kinho comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Kinho has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Manny Silva is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Gracie looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Silva fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Gracie!

Gusta dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Gusta works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Me Gusta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A lazy left from Gusta finds it's target.
Faber is rocked! Faber looks gassed! Gusta displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Faber. Faber is still on wobbly legs! Can Gusta finish him?
