17 - 12 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Graf Orlak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mohammad Lowal! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Igor Prikhodko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orlak misses with a series of wild punches.
Orlak scores with a jab. Orlak throws a shot from downtown. Lowal moves away and avoids it. Orlak takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Lowal lands an overhand right. Some bone on bone action there as Lowal checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Orlak missing with a left hand there. Lowal was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Graf Orlak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Orlak scores with a jab. Lowal on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Orlak's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Orlak duly obliges. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lowal throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Orlak connects with a body shot that sends Lowal's belly button to the back. Orlak fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lowal on the side of the head. Nice body punch from Orlak. Orlak ducks under a wild hook from Lowal. Jab from Orlak. Lowal thows a left - swing and a miss!

Orlak lunges at Lowal with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Lowal's hand. Graf Orlak is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Orlak misses with a low kick. A telegraphed right hand from Orlak misses the target. Orlak slips under a jab from Lowal. Orlak throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lowal shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lowal showed some decent athleticism there. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Lowal prevents Orlak from improving his position. Nice strikes from Lowal there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lowal looks to land a strike but Orlak avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Orlak is adopting a defensive guard. It's a sloppy attempt though and Lowal jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lowal is looking to take a break and control but Orlak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Orlak managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Lowal.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lowal is looking to take a break and control but Orlak is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Lowal has hold of Orlak's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Orlak tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Lowal cranks the arm and Orlak screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Orlak, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Mohammad Lowal decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James fails with the takedown. James fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Routalempi avoids it really well and circles away. Routalempi works James's body with a nice hook. Pekka Routalempi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. James staying out of range there. Routalempi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily. James shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Routalempi as he jumps to the side. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A good leg kick by Steele. Jab, jab by Steele - just one landing. Good leg kick by Steele there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Dotson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Steele throws out the jab. A slapping leg kick lands for Steele.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Guybrush Threepwood! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Stan Gage! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Threepwood throws a half hearted mid kick. Gage throws a head kick that misses. Gage with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Threepwood to score with a decent uppercut. Gage fails to land the takedown. Threepwood throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gage shoots for a takedown but Threepwood saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Gage shoots in but no luck this time. Guybrush Threepwood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Stan Gage. Threepwood lands with a kick to the ribs.
Gage looks gassed! A kick lands to the mid section there for Threepwood. Threepwood punishes Gage's body with a nice straight punch. Threepwood lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! The fighters circle, before Threepwood throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Gage's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Threepwood lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Guybrush Threepwood! In his post fight interview, Guybrush Threepwood started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abobo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nordemar defends it nicely. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Abobo is defended easily by Nordemar. Abobo shoots in for a double leg but Nordemar sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tank Abobo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nordemar throws a head kick but Abobo moves out of range.
Abobo misses with a takedown attempt and Nordemar counters with a head kick that drops Abobo to the mat! Abobo scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Abobo blocks a head kick by Nordemar.
Abobo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nordemar sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Abobo somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abobo gets hit by the mother of all head kicks and drops to the canvas in a crumpled heap! Woooow, the Internet is going to be talking about this one for weeks!

Holder has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Manuawillie. Manuawillie throws a hook but Holder avoids it easily. Manuawillie darts in and clinches Holder up against the cage. Holder misses with a hook from the clinch. Holder avoids a wild elbow strike from Manuawillie. Manuawillie has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Manuawillie. The referee calls for Holder to work.

Holder fails in his attempt to clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Manuawillie tries to clinch but Holder is having none of it. Manuawillie takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Holder tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that's the end of the fight! Luke Holder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Manuawillie has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight stays on the outside here - Bull looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A jab from Stigu finds it's way through Bull's defenses. Stigu lands a head shot. Bull on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Bull tries to clinch up and Stigu counters with a left and a right that stings Bull. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stigu lunges at Bull with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bull's hand. Stigu misses with a low kick.

Stigu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bull. Bull fails in his attempt to clinch. Stigu scores with a jab. Bull connects with a leg kick. Stigu looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Stigu avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Stigu lands with a straight right. Bull didn't see that one coming. Stigu staying out of range there. Stigu lands with a nice body kick. Stigu cracks Bull with a right hand to the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bull looks to land a combination but Stigu avoids it well. Bull misses with the combination.
