The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Slater stalks Graves and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Graves's face. Graves staggers backwards, shaken.
Graves takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Graves shoots in looking for a takedown. Slater tries to sprawl out of it but Graves keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Slater manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Graves has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye.

Slater will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Slater lets loose with a powerful body kick. Graves will feel that in the morning.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Graves crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Slater - the referee stops the clock and Graves gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Slater. Graves manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

and Slater counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Graves is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Horrible takedown by Graves or perhaps it was just good defense by Slater which made him look bad.

Good leg kick by Slater there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Slater fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Graves looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Graves shoots in looking for a takedown but Slater manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Graves's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Slater lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Graves falls backwards - clearly groggy! Slater dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
