The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Franklin swings and misses with a hook to the body.

The fight stays on the outside here - Franklin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Komada closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Franklin did well to prevent Komada getting side control. Komada thows a huge punch but Franklin dodges it nicely.

Franklin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Komada with a flurry of punches that miss. Franklin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Komada wants to control from the top but Franklin keeps moving. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Komada tries to free his leg and advance position but Franklin is retaining full guard.

Franklin working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Komada. Franklin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Komada tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Franklin swivels and escapes. Franklin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Komada doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Franklin lands a left and a right that sends Komada crashing to the canvas! Franklin dives into mount looking to finish!

It looks like Tatsuya Komada has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Komada tries to hold on but Franklin postures up. Komada is still in real trouble! Can Franklin finish him? Franklin looking for a guillotine from mount but Komada is having none of it. Komada seems to have recovered his senses. Franklin cracks Komada with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Komada is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes. Franklin goes for an armbar but Komada turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Komada. Franklin uses the ropes to get back to his feet.

Komada swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rich Franklin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A punch combination from Komada misses. Rich Franklin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Franklin lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Franklin throws a right hand that Komada ducks under and follows up with a left that Komada also avoids with ease. A decent looking cross lands there for Franklin. Franklin clobbers Komada with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Franklin throws a right and a left that Komada avoids nicely. The crowd are loving this. Brannigan smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Brannigan waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract HooHar. Nice takedown defense from Brannigan. No joy for HooHar on that attempt. HooHar looks for a takedown but Brannigan sprawls well. HooHar is breathing heavily. Brannigan lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Brannigan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by HooHar. Brannigan connects with a good right hand that stumbles HooHar. HooHar circles away out of range and recomposes himself. HooHar is looking to clinch but Brannigan is avoiding it.
Horrible takedown by HooHar or perhaps it was just good defense by Brannigan which made him look bad. Brannigan lands a nice hook to HooHar's body. HooHar takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Brannigan lands the left hand.

The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Cheung misses with a low kick. That's three minutes gone in the round. Cheung throws a hook to the side of Aoshi's head but Aoshi sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Aoshi lands a head kick. Cheung smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Aoshi misses with a head kick.
Cheung lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Aoshi circles away quickly and effectively. Cheung throws a series of punches but Aoshi moves out of range. Aoshi with a nice cross. Aoshi scores with a hook to the body. Cheung takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Cheung takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Aoshi works over Cheung's head and body with a nice combination. Aoshi is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Aoshi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A low kick from Cid lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dawkins has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dawkins and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Cid takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Xavier Cid will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Cid looks to throw an elbow but misses. Dawkins tries to break the clinch but Cid is controlling the position. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Cid as Dawkins tries to tie him up. Dawkins on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Dawkins is trying to maintain a safe position but Cid gets an underhook and turns Dawkins into the ropes. Cid keeps control of Dawkins as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Dawkins working hard to break the clinch. Cid using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Dawkins has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cid gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Cid working aggressively here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cid misses with a body punch.
