The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makritsky connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Sabacajan takes a jab right on the kisser.
It looks like Kenzi Sabacajan has been cut. Sabacajan fails with the takedown and Makritsky counters with a nice uppercut. Makritsky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sabacajan was well out of range. Poor timing from Makritsky. Sabacajan shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Sabacajan with a poor takedown and Makritsky counters by clinching up. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Makritsky lands with a short punch from the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Makritsky tries to advance to mount but Sabacajan denies him. A lull in the action here. Makritsky has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Makritsky working the head and body with strikes. Makritsky lands a decent elbow from side control. Sabacajan parries the strikes from Makritsky easily there. Makritsky is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sabacajan to escape.

Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sabacajan. Sabacajan is trying desperately to improve position. Makritsky raining down shots from the mount! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Makritsky landing strikes from the mount. Makritsky with the ground and pound from mount. Makritsky postures up and lands a whopping elbow - oh that's hurt Sabacajan bigstyle! Two more strikes land for Makritsky and the fight is over!

Akbar regains half guard. Akbar avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Punga. Punga working over Akbar with some ground and pound. Akbar looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Punga thows a huge punch but Akbar dodges it nicely.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sloppy strikes there by Akbar. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ali Punga will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Punga closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Akbar to the mat! Akbar manages to get full guard. Punga really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Akbar. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Akbar keeping moving, preventing Punga from controlling successfully. Punga distracts Akbar with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Akbar tries to land a sweep but no joy. Akbar bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Punga's guard. Punga can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Akbar controls the pace. Punga wants to stand up but Akbar is controlling him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Akbar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Punga can do anything to dispel that myth.

Akbar with a nice head shot there. Akbar loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Akbar is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Akbar trying to control the position from guard on top but Punga is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Punga can't keep his opponent in guard - Akbar advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Hunter Akbar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Akbar is keen to just control but Punga is a slippery customer. Akbar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Punga blocking the ground and pound attempt from Akbar. Akbar with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Akbar has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Hunter Akbar just wasn't active enough. Akbar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Punga swats him away and circles back towards the center. Akbar wants to slow Punga down by chopping away at his legs. Punga feints and as Akbar raises his hands in defense, Punga changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Akbar tries to land a sweep but no joy. Akbar pulls Punga in close to prevent any damage. Akbar trying to control the position.
Akbar is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Punga has his hands clasped together but Akbar extends an breaks Punga's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Akbar.

Fisk ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Swa moves away. Swa checks a leg kick. Fisk looks to land a combination but Swa avoids it well. Swa has taken the fight to the clinch.
Fisk working some nice short punches in the clinch. Swa is trying to push Fisk away but Fisk has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Fisk lands a nice uppercut. Fisk manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Fisk continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up. Fisk lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Swa.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swa's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Fisk prevents Swa from breaking the clinch. Fisk just leaning against Swa, taking a breather. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Swa tries to work over Fisk's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Fisk is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

A nice right hand lands inside from Swa. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Swa has had enough of the clinch but Fisk keeps him there for the moment. Swa prevents a body shot from Fisk. Fisk digs a right hand underneath Swa's ribcage. Swa let out a lung full of air as it connected. Fisk stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Swa is trying to push Fisk away but Fisk has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Swa misses with some punches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Fisk receives a warning from the referee for stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wilson Fisk dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Swa throws a head kick that misses. Swa throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Fisk sees it coming and avoids it easily. Swa wants to clinch. Swa throws a leg kick but Fisk sees it coming and moves out of range. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Swa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Fisk has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Fisk and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Swa throws a head kick that misses and Fisk counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Swa to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Fisk!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Wilson Fisk! After the fight, Wilson Fisk was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Jackass's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Jackass trying to control the position but instead, Michael has worked for underhooks and has pushed Jackass into the cage. Jackass swings wildly with an uppercut but Michael uses good head movement to avoid it. Jackass working aggressively here.
