The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carlyle slips under a jab.

Grayson Carlyle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Raivokas throws a body punch but Carlyle moves out of range.

Carlyle turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Carlyle manages to end up in side control.
Carlyle is looking to take a break and control but Raivokas is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Raivokas is looking to regain half guard here but Carlyle keeps moving and retains side control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee asks Carlyle politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Carlyle prefers to stall for the moment though.

Carlyle has hold of Raivokas's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Raivokas seems comfortable defending it but Carlyle has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Raivokas is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Raivokas is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Carlyle couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Draco walks straight into a right hand from Neumann - that's dropped him! Neumann jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Draco from any more punishment! Draco complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Cheng walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Martinez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cheng tries to avoid it but Martinez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cheng to the ground. Cheng escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Martinez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Cheng manages to avoid it.
Martinez shoots in for a takedown but Cheng shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Cheng reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Cheng taps out! Nice BJJ there by Martinez!
