The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Herman drives through with a takedown into Nelson's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Nelson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Herman is aware though and is defending well.

Nelson is looking for a triangle but Herman pushes his legs off easily.

Nelson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Herman defends it easily.

Nelson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Herman defends well.

Herman throws a big elbow that misses.

Nelson has his foot on Herman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Herman works his way back into a safe position though.

Herman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nelson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Herman has managed to get both his arms back between Nelson's legs - danger averted.
Herman has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Nelson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Herman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Herman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nelson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Nelson is looking to sinch up a triangle. Herman throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nelson's body to avoid the submission. Nelson has instead reached around Herman's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nelson arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Cole Nelson took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ol Dirty Bastard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Graghbeck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ol Dirty Bastard had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Sebastian Graghbeck is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Bastard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Graghbeck defends it nicely.
Graghbeck lands with a kick to the temple. Bastard shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Bastard wants to clinch but Graghbeck slips to the side
and Graghbeck counters with a left and a right that stings Bastard.
Bastard shoots for a takedown but Graghbeck saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bastard gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Graghbeck to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Graghbeck is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Graghbeck forces his way into half guard.

Graghbeck is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Bastard moves to clinch but Graghbeck breaks away

and Graghbeck counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bastard won't be happy with that.

Let's hope that Graghbeck has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Graghbeck has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bastard's face.

Well Lombard has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Chiang has chosen Nyan Cat as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Chin Chiang was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Rosario cracks Goldberg with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Rosario has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Goldberg to stand back up!

Goldberg walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Rosario! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
