Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caius Creatine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenart Holmberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Creatine comes to the cage accompanied by Sabaton - Metal Crue. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Creatine tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Holmberg tries a head kick but it misses.
Creatine has a takedown stuffed. Holmberg takes a swing at Creatine's ribcage but misses. Creatine will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Creatine tries to clinch up. Creatine throws a chopping leg kick but Holmberg manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Creatine takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Holmberg turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Holmberg scores with a head kick. Creatine tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. A head kick misses from Holmberg. Holmberg misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Holmberg scores with a jab to the body. Holmberg throws a sloppy head kick and Creatine counters by clinching up. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Holmberg on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! A lazy left from Holmberg finds it's target. Creatine tries to close the distance and clinch but Holmberg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Holmberg throws a push kick but Creatine slaps the foot to one side. Holmberg swats away the attempt to clinch by Creatine. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Caius Creatine has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lenart Holmberg is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Creatine looking for a guillotine here but Holmberg defends easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Creatine throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Holmberg escapes and throws Creatine's legs to the side, diving into side control!

and Potter counters with a nice double leg into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Potter stands, ready to strike. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kerabatsos throws a head kick that Calzaghe semi-blocks.
Calzaghe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kerabatsos.
Calzaghe drives through with a takedown into Kerabatsos's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Calzaghe looking to sit in guard and control but Kerabatsos gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Calzaghe is looking for a triangle but Kerabatsos pushes his legs off easily.

This has been an exciting period of action! Astra misses the shot to the body. Astra connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kaneko's hands. The fighters circling - Kaneko throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kaneko misses with a few strikes there.
Kaneko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Astra. That did some damage! A decent looking cross lands there for Kaneko. Astra missing with a left hand there. Kaneko was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Astra slips under a jab from Kaneko. Kaneko throws a looping overhand right but Astra ducks down to avoid it.

and Astra counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Kichiro Kaneko is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Astra connects with a single shot there. Astra connects with the punch. Kaneko scores with the left hand. Astra knows he should have avoided that one.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Astra misses with a few strikes there.

Astra drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Astra creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kaneko sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Astra looking to control but instead Kaneko has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Astra trying to control from Kaneko's half guard. Kaneko has other ideas though and has regained full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kichiro Kaneko will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kaneko throws an overhand right that lands on Astra's shoulder, as Astra tries to avoid the shot. Kaneko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Astra. Kaneko avoids the body shot from Astra.
The crowd cheers as Astra lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kaneko doesn't seem phased though. Nice straight punches there by Astra. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Astra. Astra pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Kaneko back to the cage. Astra follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Kaneko blocks a jab. Kaneko on the wrong end of a nice hook.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Amadeus Astra. Well Astra has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Starksson throws a combination that misses and Annunaki counters with a head kick. Starksson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Annunaki throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Starksson throws a push kick but Annunaki slaps the foot to one side. Annunaki gets a clinch. Starksson struggles to land a body shot inside as Annunaki controls his hands.
