The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams moves into the clinch. Adams softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. A frustrated look appears on Adams's face as he tries to break the clinch. Silva throws a knee to the head but misses.
Adams has Silva pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Adams pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Silva tumbling to the mat - Adams dives into Silva's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Adams postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Silva is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Adams is controlling him. Silva has momentary wrist control but Adams slips an elbow through the middle. Adams has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Adams has a closed guard, preventing Silva from standing up. Adams has Silva pulled in close to control his posture. Adams wriggles free and stands up.

It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Strong manages to end up in side control. Stann is trying to get back to his feet. Stann really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Strong. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Strong creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Stann sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Stann is trying to buck Strong off. Strong lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Strong trying to control the action but Stann is working from the bottom. Strong wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Stann, who protects the arm well.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Whipple keeps the fight on the outside. Whipple is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Sendoh like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Sendoh from another fist facial!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sleek wants to clinch. Daniel misses with a straight right. Sleek uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Daniel. Daniel misses with a double jab.
Sleek fails in his attempt to clinch. Sleek steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Daniel. Jamie Daniel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sleek drives through and clinches with Daniel against the cage.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Sleek lands a shoulder strike. Daniel dodges an elbow strike from Sleek.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Daniel takes a shot to the head.

Nice takedown defense from Sleek. No joy for Daniel on that attempt. Sleek tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Daniel paws at him with a jab and circles away. Sleek tries to clinch up but Daniel circles away and keeps his distance. Sleek clinches with his opponent.

Sleek gets a clinch. Daniel is trying to push Sleek away but Sleek has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Sleek obliges. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Sleek pulls Daniel in to control the position. Sleek keeping full guard, as Daniel tries to pass. Sleek wants to sweep here but Daniel controlling him for the moment. Daniel throws a strike but Sleek rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Sleek wants to control from the top but Daniel keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jay Sleek wasn't doing enough on the ground. Daniel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sleek as he avoids it easily. Daniel throws a series of punches but Sleek moves out of range. Sleek closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Daniel wants to break free but Sleek has control.
Sleek keeps control of Daniel as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Daniel tries for a takedown. No joy.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sleek escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sleek tries to clinch but Daniel is having none of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Sleek looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sleek tries to clinch there but Daniel circles away.

Sleek's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Daniel tries to keep at a distance but Sleek has taken the fight into the clinch. Daniel is trying to push Sleek away but Sleek has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Sleek has Daniel pressed against the cage, preventing Daniel from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Sleek breaks from the clinch.

Xenakis tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Eisenberg paws at him with a jab and circles away. Eisenberg drops Xenakis with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Xenakis looks back up at him and smiles so Eisenberg waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Xenakis is rocked! Eisenberg pounces like a tiger and cracks Xenakis with a vicious hook! Xenakis is down but not out! Eisenberg follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
