Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bart Nichols (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bruno Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nichols comes to the cage accompanied by Panic by The Smiths. Miles has chosen Fat Lip- Sum 41 as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Miles bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Nichols's head backwards.
Nichols connects with a crisp jab.
Miles blocks a head kick by Nichols.

Nichols lands a big head kick that sends Miles tumbling to the mat! Nichols takes a step backwards and waves Miles back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Miles has closed the distance and engaged Nichols in a clinch.
Miles is trying to break free.

Miles gets control of Nichols's arms and successfully pulls guard. Miles will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Miles is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lord Viceroy really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that L.A. Elite Clothing Co logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Gallagher looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ankutse with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Gallagher remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
