The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Louzon misses.
Louzon misses with a straight left.

Louzon drops Young with a nice combination! Louzon dives into Young's guard, looking to finish!

Young is rocked!

It looks like Tom Young has been cut.
Young on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Young tries to get out of the position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Young is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Young is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tom Young wasn't doing enough on the ground.
No joy there for Louzon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Louzon blocks a jab.
Louzon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Young momentarily.

Louzon misses with a wild combination.
Young catches Louzon with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Young misses with a straight right.
Young tries to bum rush Louzon with a series of wild strikes but Louzon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Louzon throws a hook to the side of Young's head but Young sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Louzon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Louzon throws a hook but Young blocks it.
Louzon uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Oh Young is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Young is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Louzon just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Young has gone limp and this one is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Joe Louzon!
A very excited looking Joe Louzon rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

Praise tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Praise takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Green lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Daniel Praise has been cut.
Green throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Praise crashing down! Praise tries to stagger back to his feet but Green just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Praise asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Juan Pablo Green!
Juan Pablo Green really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Vandal Fight Boutique (prices $8 - $30) logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.

Balldeep tries to clinch but Only moves out of range.
Only misses with an uppercut.
Balldeep tries a head kick but it misses.
Balldeep shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Only but Only pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Balldeep moves into range and clinches up with Only.

Balldeep gets control of Only's arms and successfully pulls guard. Balldeep will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Balldeep trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Only trying to control but Balldeep is working from the bottom.
Balldeep trying to keep a closed guard but Only is proving a slippery customer.
Only working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Balldeep's head.

Only won't allow Balldeep to sweep him here.
Only with a flurry of punches that miss.
Balldeep is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Only engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

We're going to have a standup here because Hussain Balldeep wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

and Only counters with a single leg into guard. Balldeep didn't expect that.

Only trying to move into half guard but instead Balldeep has managed to sweep!
Only manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Only putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

Only is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Balldeep is squirming around, avoiding Only's attempts to control the action.

Balldeep wants to control but Only is having none of it.
Only really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Balldeep. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pigeon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pigeon fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Pigeon lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Diogo Baldaia has been cut.

Pigeon catches Baldaia napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Baldaia to the canvas!

Baldaia is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Pigeon wants to control from the top but Baldaia keeps moving.
Oh Baldaia is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pigeon prevents Baldaia from getting back to his feet.

Pigeon is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Baldaia has escaped the position, nice work there.
Pigeon has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Baldaia!

Pigeon has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Baldaia is forced to tap!

Shonuck has an Americana. Johnson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Shonuck is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Shonuck hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Rua shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Roberts manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Rua is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Roberts has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Rua is looking to defend but Roberts has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Rua! Roberts pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Rua taps out and this one is all over!

Gomez is trying to drag Goldberg to the mat but Goldberg just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Gomez wants to take the fight to the mat but Goldberg manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

That has opened up Marco Gomez's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Goldberg's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Goldberg slaps away a takedown attempt from Gomez, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Gomez walks straight into a right hand from Goldberg - that's dropped him! Goldberg jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Gomez from any more punishment! Gomez complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
