The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huang keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Simmons gets caught flat footed, as Huang shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Huang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Simmons works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Huang accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Duke drops Rapp with a beautiful combination! Rapp stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Duke is looking for the KO!
