The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Swift misses. Ronaldo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Swift circles away quickly and effectively. Cristiano Ronaldo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Swift scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Ronaldo ducks under a wild hook from Swift. Ronaldo misses the shot to the body. Swift steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Ronaldo. That one must have hurt. Ronaldo throws a head kick but Swift moves out of range.

Ronaldo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Swift in his tracks. Swift cracks Ronaldo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Those never looked like landing. A good leg kick by Ronaldo. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Swift lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Swift moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Jab, jab by Swift - just one landing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Swift throws out a loose jab but Ronaldo uses good head movement to avoid it. Swift throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Crunch! Ronaldo slams his shin into Swift's torso. Swift lands a glancing blow to the side of Ronaldo's head. Swift throws a poor cross that misses
and Ronaldo counters with a straight that turns Swift's legs to rubber! Ronaldo pushes forward with more strikes and Swift goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crillo gets a takedown into half guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Crillo tries to pass the half guard into mount. Steele knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Crillo missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Steele avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Crillo. Crillo scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Steele is looking to control Crillo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Steele avoid being mounted? Crillo seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Crillo lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crillo throwing shots but Steele is blocking nicely. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crillo slows the pace down in half guard. Crillo scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Steele really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crillo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Crillo winds up and cracks Steele with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Crillo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Steele's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crillo looking for a submission but Steele manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.

Steele utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Crillo throws a strike but Steele rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Crillo is pulling down on Steele's head to control his posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steele is rocked! Steele has left one of his arms exposed and Crillo doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Steele screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Gonzales looking to pass the guard. Shala could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Shala trying to control the position.

Shala seems comfortable defending it but Gonzales has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Shala is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Shala is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Gonzales couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Kong is really struggling to find his range with his punches. Toivo's reach advantage is clearly causing him problems. Kong throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A punch combination from Kong misses. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Harper can do anything to dispel that myth. Harper wants to stand up but Punk is controlling him. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
