The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain lands with a hook. Akari tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Akari is breathing heavily.
Akari takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Cain throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Decent striking displayed by Cain there.
Akari fails in his attempt to clinch.
Cain stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cain lands a nice hook to Akari's body. Akari takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Akari walks into a straight right hand from Cain.
Cain lands a lovely overhand right.
Cain lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Cain fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Cain scores with a hook.
A jab lands there for Cain.

Akari is rocked!
Cain throws a pinpoint strike between Akari's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Akari crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Cain scores a great knockout victory!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mendes takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mannetosen.
A slapping body kick lands there for Mannetosen.
Mendes takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Mendes takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Mendes ducks straight into an uppercut from Mannetosen and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Mendes manages to regain guard straight away.

Bastiat waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rock.
Bastiat throws a hook but Rock blocks it.
Bastiat fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Bastiat gets the takedown into side control.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Bastiat wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rock, who protects the arm well.
Rock is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Bastiat has just dragged him back down to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bastiat goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Rock has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bastiat but great work by Rock.

Bastiat has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Rock should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bastiat has tightened it up now! Rock should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Anson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Anson avoids the head kick by Elorde.
Elorde comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nice takedown defense from Anson. No joy for Elorde on that attempt.
Seth Anson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Flash Elorde.

and Anson counters with a nice uppercut.

Elorde looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Anson is fending him off so far but Elorde persists. Nope, Anson circles away and we're back to standing.

Elorde takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Anson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
