The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Parker swings for the body but Gracie moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Gracie. Parker closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Gracie did well to prevent Parker getting side control. Parker is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gracie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Parker. Well, if Parker is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Gracie looking for subs from the bottom but Parker mounts him! Parker looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Parker is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Gracie to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Gracie shrugs it off. Parker is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Gracie is surviving well by controlling Parker's body position as best he can. Gracie defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Parker.

Parker looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Gracie tries to reverse the position but Parker maintains control. Parker tries to control but Gracie wriggling away. Gracie slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Gracie looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Gracie is refusing to be controlled, as Parker sits in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie looking for submissions off his back. Parker tries to pass to full mount but Gracie defends it.

He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Gracie tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Parker cranks the arm and Gracie screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Gracie, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

In his post fight interview, Jeff Parker gave a big smile as he said 'listen kakarot i will surpass you no matter what it takes my elite bloodline shall reign supreme i pity the next mortal to step in there with the prince of all SAIYANS!!'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sotiropoulos looks to land a combination but Straub avoids it well. Sotiropoulos scores with a jab to the jaw. Sotiropoulos throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Straub. Straub doesn't manage to clinch there - Sotiropoulos circles away.
A telegraphed right hand from Sotiropoulos misses the target. Sotiropoulos throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Straub counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Sotiropoulos! Sotiropoulos really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Straub is trying to control the position but Sotiropoulos postures up. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Sotiropoulos has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Straub is proving hard to escape from. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Straub wants to sweep here but Sotiropoulos controlling him for the moment. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sotiropoulos accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Straub lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sotiropoulos! Straub wants to control the action but instead Sotiropoulos gets a body lock and reverses into Straub's guard! Nice work!

so Straub counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Sotiropoulos seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Straub trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Straub looking to sit in guard and control but Sotiropoulos gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Sotiropoulos in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Straub is working an open guard so Sotiropoulos takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Sotiropoulos misses with a hook. Straub ducked under it nicely. Sotiropoulos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Straub doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Straub tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sotiropoulos was well out of range. Poor timing from Straub. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Sotiropoulos scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Straub is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Sotiropoulos. Straub shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sotiropoulos sprawls well. Sotiropoulos wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Straub gets slowly back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sotiropoulos misses with a low kick as Straub jumps back. Sotiropoulos throws a looping overhand right but Straub ducks down to avoid it. Sotiropoulos throws a nice looking combination but Straub bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foster has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Chan. Foster drives through and clinches with Chan against the cage.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Chan obliges. Foster is trying to break the clinch but Chan has him pressed against the cage. Chan lands a hook that snaps the head of Foster backwards. Chan lands a body shot. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Foster. Foster is breathing heavily. Foster misses with the head strike.

It looks like Tyler Foster has been cut. Chan floors Foster with a big punch on the inside! Foster is trying to recover but Chan dives into side control. Oh Foster is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Chan tries to stand but Foster is controlling his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chan stands up and beckons Foster to his feet. Chan connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Foster to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Chan!

Guida has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Gamburian after a bit of a struggle. Guida is looking for a takedown. Guida goes for a takedown attempt but Gamburian pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Aram Gamburian has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clay Guida. Guida gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gamburian.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Aram Gamburian! During a confident post fight interview, Aram Gamburian thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

Dellaria sprawls well initially but The Slick persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dellaria can do anything to dispel that myth. The Slick seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The Slick is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Dellaria defends it well. Dellaria wants to get back to his feet. The Slick is nestled in close to Dellaria, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
