Gartner's eyes are wide open but he's not all there - he's just flopping around the mat like a drunk on rollerskates! The referee doesn't even start the count - he's called an end to the fight, with Gartner in no position to continue!

With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Victor Sagat!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sagat cracks Bruce with a perfect right hand that drops him to the mat! Bruce is sitting up but I can't see if he's OK from my position. The referee's count has reached 5,6,7 and Bruce is still not up. Can he make it? 8,9,10! He's out! Bruce could not beat the count!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Victor Sagat!
A relieved looking Victor Sagat thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
