These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malybaev has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Tuning wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Malybaev scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Tuning doesn't seem bothered though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Malybaev throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Malybaev is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Lumpio does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A thudding body kick lands there by Lumpio!
Polvi Lumpio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lumpio throws a leg kick that misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lumpio, right into the meat.
Lumpio misses with a low kick.
Junttila throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lumpio sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Junttila throws a shot from downtown. Lumpio moves away and avoids it.
Junttila shoots in for a takedown but Lumpio shows good takedown defense.

Junttila stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lumpio.

Towraghondi comes to the cage accompanied by Coal Chamber - Amir of the Desert. Mark Coleman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Towraghondi creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Coleman sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Borg circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Davison to the canvas! Davison doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Borg keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
