The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plas throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Carver swings for the body but Plas moves out of range.
Carver chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Plas can pounce on him.
Plas lands a jab to Carver's midsection. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Plas lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
It looks like Brian Carver has been cut. Carver lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Plas circles away quickly and effectively. Carver is breathing heavily. Plas lands a high kick!
Carver blocks a leg kick. Plas scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Plas lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Plas throws a quick head kick that knocks Carver silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Plas is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Rock does no damage. Bastiat closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rock to the mat! Rock manages to get full guard. Bastiat passes Rock's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Rock wants to get back to his feet. Bastiat works his way into side control. Bastiat is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rock is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rock is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Bastiat wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rock, who protects the arm well. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bastiat looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Rock is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Bastiat asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bastiat is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rock is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rock is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bastiat is controlling him well. Bastiat tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bastiat has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Bastiat has an Americana. Rock didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bastiat is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bastiat hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Monson tries to close the distance and clinch but Reed swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Monson lands a nice leg kick that just misses Reed's sensitive parts. Monson throws a nice looking combination but Reed bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Reed takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Reed moves into range and clinches up with Monson. Reed is trying to drag Monson to the mat but Monson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Monson trying to land knees to the body.

Monson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Reed closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Reed tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Monson's elbow. Monson effectively controlling the action here. Reed takes an elbow to the forehead. Reed blocks an elbow strike. Reed fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Reed is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Reed takes an elbow to the temple. Monson lands an elbow inside that Reed shrugs off. Reed lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Monson backwards. Monson lands an elbow just above Reed 's eye. Monson breaks the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lesnar slips a jab and a cross from Ferrigno.

That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Ferrigno keeping moving, preventing Lesnar from controlling successfully. Ferrigno has momentary wrist control but Lesnar slips an elbow through the middle. Lesnar passes Ferrigno's left leg - he's now in half guard. Ferrigno is trying to stand up here but Lesnar is controlling him well. Ferrigno looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Still in half guard, Lesnar seems content to control. Lesnar wants to take a breather but Ferrigno is having none of it. Lesnar winds up and cracks Ferrigno with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Lesnar is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ferrigno sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are battling for position here. Ferrigno manages to regain full guard. Nice work. This has been an exciting period of action! Ferrigno has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lesnar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lesnar throwing strikes but missing. Lesnar looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ferrigno with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Lesnar slips a nice elbow through Ferrigno's hands, connecting with Ferrigno's forehead. Ferrigno is not content to let Lesnar control the position. Lesnar prevents Ferrigno from standing back up.
Lesnar is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ferrigno is just riding it out for now. Lesnar eventually gives up the hold.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ferrigno is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lesnar pulls his head out easily. Lesnar is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Ferrigno has managed to free his arm - good work. Lesnar lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Lesnar trying to control the action but Ferrigno is working from the bottom. Lesnar is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ferrigno actively working from the bottom here. Lesnar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Lesnar keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Ferrigno's efforts to push away. Lou Ferrigno has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lesnar lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
And that's the end of the fight! Sergio Lesnar comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lesnar has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
