Benn gets caught flat footed, as Tremain shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tremain trying to control but Benn is working from the bottom.
Benn avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Benn working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Tremain.
Tremain trying to control but Benn is working from the bottom.
Tremain advances to half guard.
Tremain is looking to advance position but Benn won't allow it.

Tremain is trying to work for a kimura but Benn is defending well.

Undercard bout

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Darko El Kharraz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Riori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Angel Riori struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 156.2lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. On his way into the cage it seems that Darko El Kharraz has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Darko El Kharraz seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Parker tries for a takedown but Midgard sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Midgard shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Parker eats them both and turns towards Midgard to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Parker tries to move into range but Midgard moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Parker is rocked!
The fighters circle, before Midgard throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Parker's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Midgard lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lyoton.
Lyoton throws a body punch but Emelianenko moves out of range.
Emelianenko thuds his shin into the meat of Lyoton's side.
Lyoton pushes Emelianenko away with a front kick.
Lyoton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Emelianenko swivels and escapes.
Lyoton misses with a double jab.
Lyoton keeps the fight on the outside.
Emelianenko scores with a body shot.
Lyoton throws a body punch but Emelianenko moves out of range.

Emelianenko gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Emelianenko manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Lyoton creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Emelianenko's defenses.

It looks like Mirko Emelianenko has been cut.
Emelianenko tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Lyoton fails to pull the fight into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Emelianenko tries to free his leg and advance position but Lyoton is retaining full guard.
Emelianenko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Lyoton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Lyoton is looking to sinch up a triangle. Emelianenko throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lyoton's body to avoid the submission. Lyoton has instead reached around Emelianenko's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lyoton arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
