The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buscemi lands a nice hook to Lightyear's body. Lightyear takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Buscemi leaves Lightyear with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Buscemi has Lightyear up against the cage in a clinch.
Nice elbow from Buscemi.
It looks like Buzz Lightyear has been cut. Buscemi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lightyear uses from the top position. Buscemi looking for a guillotine here but Lightyear defends easily.
Lightyear drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lightyear jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Lightyear is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Buscemi wants to sweep here but Lightyear controlling him for the moment. Lightyear is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Buscemi is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Buscemi has escaped and now he's on top!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vic. Blitzkrieg decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Vic wants to improve his position but Blitzkrieg is controlling well.
Vic is working hard here to advance position. Blitzkrieg seems to be looking for submissions.
Blitzkrieg stands up and beckons Vic to join him on the feet. Blitzkrieg dives in and scores a takedown into Vic's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Blitzkrieg working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Vic's head. Blitzkrieg working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Blitzkrieg trying to control but Vic is working from the bottom. Vic throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Blitzkrieg doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Blitzkrieg manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Vic looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Vic is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Vic working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Blitzkrieg has passed into half guard!
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Vic is breathing heavily. Blitzkrieg is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Vic sees it coming and defends easily. Vic tries to roll over but Blitzkrieg keeps him under control. Blitzkrieg is nestled in close to Vic, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blitzkrieg looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blitzkrieg is taking a breather. Vic says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Blitzkrieg moves into full mount! Vic won't be happy about that! Vic regains half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Blitzkrieg wants to pass to mount but Vic is defending the position. Blitzkrieg sitting and controlling from the half guard. Blitzkrieg decides to return to a standing position. Michael Vic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Vic enables Blitzkrieg to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Vic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Blitzkrieg is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Blitzkrieg pushing down on Vic's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Blitzkrieg is looking for a kimura but Vic is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Blitzkrieg to get the leverage. Blitzkrieg is trying to work for a kimura but Vic is defending well.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kamikazee Blitzkrieg was stalling too much, according to the referee. Blitzkrieg dives in and scores a takedown into Vic's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vic tries to land a sweep but no joy. Blitzkrieg passes easily into side control. Nice work. Vic tries to buck Blitzkrieg off but Blitzkrieg is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kamikazee Blitzkrieg dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Vic takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Blitzkrieg decides to take the fight back to the feet. A right-left combo lands from Blitzkrieg.

Kamikazee Blitzkrieg showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Michael Vic's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Vic closes the distance but Blitzkrieg moves to the side and Blitzkrieg counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Vic's guard now. and Blitzkrieg counters with a left and a right that stings Vic. Blitzkrieg lands a jab to Vic's midsection. This has been an exciting period of action! Blitzkrieg throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Blitzkrieg lands with a nice combination. Vic backs away looking to recover. Blitzkrieg stalks Vic and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Vic's face. Vic staggers backwards, shaken. Kamikazee Blitzkrieg is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Blitzkrieg lands a jab to Vic's midsection. Blitzkrieg dives in and scores a takedown into Vic's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Kamikazee Blitzkrieg comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Blitzkrieg has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Urutaka keeps the fight on the outside. Urutaka circles away from the clinch attempt.
Marshal checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Marshal throws a series of punches but Urutaka avoids them all with ease. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Urutaka. Marshal moves in looking to clinch but Urutaka pushes him off. Marshal lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Urutaka at a distance.
Urutaka shoots in for a double leg but Marshal sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Marshal misses with a straight left. Urutaka avoids the body shot from Marshal.
Marshal tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Urutaka paws at him with a jab and circles away. Urutaka darts in and clinches Marshal up against the cage. Marshal manages to break the clinch.

Urutaka shoots for a takedown but Marshal saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kai Urutaka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Urutaka tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. The fighters circling - Marshal throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A close round but Stephen Marshal will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A shot to the liver by Urutaka. Beautiful body shot. Marshal tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Stephen Marshal seems to be getting the better of the standup. Marshal moves in looking to clinch but Urutaka pushes him off. Kai Urutaka is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Marshal is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Urutaka as Marshal tries to tie him up. Marshal is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Urutaka has denied him. Urutaka escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Marshal keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kai Urutaka. That's going to take a lot out of him. Urutaka throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lockwood gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Lockwood keeps control of Steinbrenner as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Lockwood wants to break free. And that's the end of the fight! Mike Hugh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hugh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones tries to clinch up but Smith circles away and keeps his distance. Jones closes the distance looking to clinch and Smith counters with a nice double leg into guard. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones wants to stand and escape but Smith is having none of it. Smith wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Dean Smith wasn't doing enough on the ground. Jones is looking to clinch. Nice sprawl there from Jones as Smith shoots in. Jones instigates a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jones looking to throw knees to the head but Smith is blocking nicely.

Jones really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Smith. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Smith tries to free his leg and advance position but Jones is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smith trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.

Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. Jones closes the distance looking to clinch so Smith counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Smith is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith won't allow Jones to get back to his feet. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Smith wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smith prevents Jones from getting back to his feet. Smith missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Jones wants to get back to his feet but Smith is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Smith pushes down on Jones's leg and manages to get into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dean Smith dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jones wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance. Smith keeps the fight on the outside. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smith is defended easily by Jones. Jones tries to clinch but Smith moves out of range. Smith shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Smith looking to control but Jones is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Jones wants to try and get back to his feet. Dean Smith overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Smith is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jones can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Smith has control of Jones's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jones regains control of the situation pretty easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Smith there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Smith fails to move to back control. Smith misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Jones tries to buck Smith off but he can't manage it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smith throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Jones because Smith loaded up on that one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith works his way to his opponent's back.
Jones is breathing heavily. Jones is trying to get back to his feet but Smith has full control of the position and if anything, Jones has just worked his way into a worse spot. Good control from Smith. Smith misses with an elbow to the head. Jones won't enjoy being in this position. Smith looking for the choke. Oh... he's slipped the arm under the neck - Jones is tapping - it's over boys! Smith picks up the submission victory!
